Really glad that the chopper is getting rebuilt by the pros . They do make me a little nervous, fog and wind clouds etc . Just want yah as safe as possible.

For the folks with quasi-facts complaining about their helicopter - helicopters aren't inherently unsafe, you don't need a fixed wing cert before you get a helicopter cert, yes helicopters CAN glide with an engine out and safely land with control authority, the guys are obviously in a professional, licensed, flight program learning with experienced instructors in certified helicopters. The maintenance interval in helicopters is insane and expensive, their chopper is in good hands and will be safe for them to fly when complete.

My favorite thing about this channel is the closeness and love within your entire family. You young Men are very. blessed. Keep up the awesome work dudes!

Been waiting for more helicopter content, I fly them in the UK and love it. The R44 is a little more stable than the R22 but still think its best to learn in a 22 because I believe it makes you a better pilot. My wife worked at a Helicopter tour business for the last 6 years. They flew Robinson 44's and 66's as well as Bell 47's and Bell 206 Jet Rangers. I've flown from Utah to South Dakota in a Cavalon Gyrocopter.

A historic break! Glad you guys addressed the topic of those spammers... most of us should know about protecting ourselves, but you can't take for granted that everyone knows.

Awesome that you got a chance to fly! I'm sure they'll tell you this once you start the training, but go ahead and get in the habit of keeping your left hand on the collective as much as possible, and I would never take it off when the manifold pressure is above 20" in the R-22. It's not as critical in the 44, but in the 22 it could save your life! The rotor RPM decays so rapidly at high power settings if you have a power failure because there is lots of pitch in the blades, so lots of drag, and not much inertia in the rotor system. The R-22 is an awesome machine and a very capable aircraft, but it does make some tradeoffs and that low-inertia rotor system is one of them. You guys are in for a real treat once you start flying it if you liked the maneuverability of the 44!
