My name is Miriam Follin. I’m a Swedish woman who has been living and traveling in China since 2015. 2017 I married and began living with my husband in his hometown in north western China. On this channel I share videos on life, culture and food in rural Qinghai, and sometimes little videos from other parts of China or from Sweden.

Since you'll be in Sweden for so long, it would be really cool if Yonghong wanted to make a video about his perspective/experience living there, just like how you usually show your view of the community he grew up with in Qinghai. Also, a vote for a cottage tour!

I tried searching for it, but I am pretty sure that youtube channels won't show up on search results-- even if you search the exact name-- if they don't already have a lot of subscribers and/or videos. I've had that experience with other new/small channels.

Sansan is such an amazingly well behaved little boy. I cannot believe he keeps his face mask on. He was brilliant on the plane and such a joy to see. It doesn't seem long since you were in Sweden last time. Big love

Your husband is so brave, its a huge change for him. My husband is also from a very remote rural area. I cant imagine going to my former country. I started crying when he cried.

Sansan is doing so well during your trip and your stay! It must be fun for him to hear Swedish all around him now. I felt for YH as well when saying goodbye to his family. It must be weird! Have a wonderfull ending of your prenancy and all the good luck for the labor and first days!

Honghong’s voice breaking when parting from his family was very sad to see. Like you, I also have family in different countries (Israel, Spain, and US) and it can be very hard, because you’re always many months away from some of the people you love the most. Glad you made it safely. Would love to see videos of the cottage and of Sansan exploring the forest. By the way, he is so cute and sooooo well-behaved! My own 4 year-old did not behave nearly as patiently and cheerfully as Sansan does at this same age.

I assume we can still use the same WeChat account we used to communicate with? :-) Please be kind to yourself and no need to apologize for taking some time to make videos. Paperwork, traveling back home while during pregnancy are a lot to go through and I am sure your audience only wants the best for you. I watched the entire video and loved every single of it xx

Miriam your video made me cry. So many emotions in one video. I've been living abroad for 25 years now and have a binational marriage. So I could relate to a lot of things you are going through and seeing your young family remebered me when my children were little. I'm so relieved you are in Sweden and can get the treatment needed for you and the baby to be safe. Here in Greece we wish pregnant women a good delivery and that's what I wish you, too. I'm sure Yonghong will have some difficult moments in the next months,he has a difficult task to take care of his wife and a baby and your lovely son and all this far away from his home and family. So I wish him to trust in himself and to trust in future. You are a great family!!! With lots of love from Greece I want to thank you for all those emotions and memories you gave me today ❤️

Welcome back ! Its lots of snow here in Sweden, hopefully you have enough warmer cloth. I know how you and your husband feel. I feel so bad watching him cried, he reminds me of myself leaving Singapore 23 years ago. What a journey!

三三太可爱了，特别是他说 馍馍, 阿大，西北人的那种憨厚劲儿加上可爱劲儿，好亲切！ 路途遥远，但是米粒不急不躁，永鸿永远笑嘻嘻的。看得出永鸿对中国的不舍，米粒对家乡的想念。两边都住住其实挺好的。这样三三长大了，就是个国际通了

My family is from village of shan Xi , very similar with yonghong’s village . So when I watch you video , I feel everything is so familiar. Your mother in law looks like my auntie , she is also very kind . I wish you have a safe and quick labour this time . Also you are welcome to England anytime . My husband is Turkish . He and yonghong definitely can be good friends .they both have similar characters.

So, so happy to hear that you all made it safely to Sweden! It reminds me of moving from China back to the US with our son (who was 15 months at the time), all of our luggage, and with two cats as well! Glad you have some time to rest before the baby arrives. No need quarantine 😀, I am living in Australia, we have a very strict hotel quarantine system here. Also the board not open yet. Only for Australian citizens or permanent residents allow entry. I am pregnant 6weeks. My due day will be around October. I wish Australian government will open the board at that time so my mother could come here from China! Haven’t seen them more than a year!

You are now very advanced in your pregnancy and have travelled from one side of the world to the other. Be gentle with yourself. Uploading vlogs will come in all good time. Have enjoyed following your journey from Australia. The quality and diversity is entertaining and educational. I have been to China twice but not to the area you have settled in. Oh Miriam, I’m so happy to see this vid. Sansan is such a beautiful precious little boy❤️ and I bet your parents and siblings are glad to be spending some time with him and you’ll. I know Yonghong was very sad to leave his parents, they are wonderful I hope he doesn’t feel too sad on Chinese NY day! I’m so glad you are near a forest and I look forward to wild berry and mushroom picking season. Please keep us updated once you’ve settled into the cottage, but take it easy it’s going to be a little hectic once the baby comes. I hope Yonghong will settle into his Swedish lessons well and soon, it will be much easier for him, like it was for you being able to speak the language if not it can be isolating. Good luck with everything, and this is the happiest I’ve seen you! your smile is just reaches your heart I can see it. ❤️🙏
