I'm done with school but this morning routine is bringing back so many memories of me and my brother😂Blake is literally my big brother when it comes to showering! I spent the majority of my mornings doing my hair and about 2 seconds drinking a smoothie my mom would make me😬moms are the best and sweetest though👍🏼

As one of the cats were trying to scratch Karli's chair I would suggest getting a scratching post in her room just for when they r in her room they can scratch something. Just a suggestion

Congrats on 18 years! October 18th would be my parents 20th but my dad passed away recently and that means that my mom will probably cry all day. He died right before her birthday so it was hard for her then. Sometimes I don't know why god has my my life so difficult but I hope in the end something good comes of it all.

My opinion on Blake, I would cut the hot water off after 10 minutes. That is more than enough time to get finished! I had to start doing that to my daughter because she would do what Blake did. We only have one bathroom. Could Chase not use the master bath? For the gift for the hubs, my husband likes gifts that money won't buy....lol.

LOL...LOVE THAT. my husband is the same :) I think they are all alike. haha. Luckily Chase just needs to brush his hair and teeth so he can get ready fast so he gets to sleep longer. But we have tried where we shut off the water on Blake. At our old house it was easy. but here I have to go down in our cold concrete floor basement and honestly I don't even know where to shut it off (I should probably find out, lol).

I have been making my own lunch and waking myself up for school since I think second grade. I think getting your kids alarm clocks and having them wake themselves up will make them more independent. I actually like making my own schedule and not having my mom hounding me in the morning. It’s more relaxing.

With both kids in school this year I sometimes I feel like a yo-yo going back and and forth trying to get them out the door. My 7 year old isn't to bad, she can do most things herself now but my 5 year old just started school so we are still trying to get him into the morning routine.

It's funny that karli and Blake take soooo long to get ready. I also take a shower in the morning, dry my hair, get my makeup done, make my bed, make breakfast, eat breakfast, clean up the kitchen and still have enough time to watch 1 or 2 KZfaq videos I'm a very fast and morning person
