I was thinking the same thing. When I saw the chick Sarah was holding I immediately thought "road runner!" I see them on my place from time to time during the summer. On a separate note, Sarah and Kevin are not the only ones having problems with chicks. Sheraton Park Farms is also having problems and other people on that channel are saying the same thing. I'm not sure if everyone is using the same hatchery or if this is an industry wide problem.

One of my Polish girls went broody last summer, but I wasn’t prepared for chicks at the time, so I didn’t let her hatch. We have Easter egger roos. If she gets broody again🤞🏻 I’m prepared.

What fun!❤❤😊😊 I love how you two love life! ❤ I think Waddlesville is going to be more amazing than ever with the little crested chicks there! It makes me want to come for a tour!!! Don't worry. I am house bound most of the time down here in Texas. I really enjoy your videos. I was raised on a goat farm in Arkansas, and still tried garden and canning until the old body wore down. God is still good. No complaints here. May the LORD continue to bless you and all yours. You are such a blessing to many. I do still dehydrate a little, and prep as wisely as I am able.

Great job Sarah and Kevin, those new chicks are a great addition to Waddelsville. Hope the older residents accept them in the neighborhood. Have you ate any of the Goose Eggs yet? How did you prepare them and how did they taste? Stay safe around there and keep up the fun. Fred.

I once crossed the Crested Polish with Necked Neck Turkens. And I got Crested Necked Necks, very funny looking chicken.

I know the chickens don't complain about anything (that we know of). What about installing a "complaint/suggestion box" out in Waddlesville? That would be funny! Hopefully, when they do complain, you'll be able to read their "chicken scratch"

We'd just like to toss you a biig thank you for your videos over the years. We watched your video a while ago when you were setting up your large hoophouse gereenhose on your old homestead and today we just erected a smaller one about 20 feet TON HOUSE OUR NEW LITTLE KUBOTA 2380 AND KEEP IT OUT OF THE WEATHER..and WE used your great method of throwing ropes attached to one side of the structure and pulling the ropes in sequence to have it slide over the arched walls and roof. the 2 of us did it not knowing if it was going to be a disaster or a breeze,, and like you at times we had the wind come up for a while but figured how to get it to help rather than hinder us and it was a breeze "sorry about the pun"".. We werer both reaLLY SURPRISED AND GREATFUL FOR THE EASE IN WHICH IT WENT UP, SOOOOOO again THANK YOU BOTH FOR HAVING MADE OUR ADVENTURE A GOOD ONE,, HOPE YOU BOTH HAVE A VERY HAPPY EASTHER THE WEEKEND AND REAP GOD'S BLESSINGS. I think you're right. The tan one should be called Phyllis Diller. If it's a boy she can always call him Phyl for short. Fun on the homestead. The Nanas from Central Florida growing in buckets

I just got 3 baby Polish and after 3 days one was doing very very poorly. I took her back to the feed mill to find out what to do, and they said the most humane thing would be to let her cool down and pass. I was told that Polish do not ship well and usually 25% or so don't make it. I wish you the best with the rest of them!

I raised polish before. I think they're adorable. Some of them have to have their face feathers trimmed occasionally so they can see.
