My father always told me that nothing in life belongs to us. Look after it because eventually it can pass to someone else. He also taught me how to manifest, but also taught me that I didn't need material things to make me happy. I was much blessed to be taught this as a child.

@@isabellarosehypnose Yes I did understand to some degree, but discovering Eckhart Tolle brought it all together for me. I had several experiences that I didn't understand at the time. Luckily I trusted it all and lived an amazing life. Never had money but had riches that money could not buy.

Easily said. But space has it' s place.. hmm does it.. who am I? Who really cares? Isn' t this wonderful? What? This life..what's that? These thoughts.. oh no.. always a safe place.. without them. Thank god for space.Thank god for everything, why not? It only takes a split second and you can make it last, a moment of silence can bend time to your wishes if you can sustain it.. but often you' ll get interrupted by a nagging sensation.. not for nothing it' s your spirit calling you but in another language.. one you might understand if you shut up!

Even though I have been studying the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and many many others for decades, I JUST NOW got this! I have been spending so much time trying to manifest what will make me happy instead of knowing that happiness is already within me. I will now be spending my time making sure that truth sinks in to every cell of my being. Happiness is mine now - and so it is! 💜 Thank you to Eckhart and all the great teachers. 🎉

When we attempt to manifest from ego, it is as you say, only temporary. We will tire of it in a relatively short time. When we manifest from Presence, it becomes effortless and therefore their is a natural flow of energy resulting in what is needed or desired.🙏🌈😊

@@Lisa14441 One of the best part of his book is when he teaches about inner and outer purpose in life. He explains that the right way of living is for inner purpose to be primary while external purpose is secondary. He goes on to explain that when our primary is external purpose what's when we get identified with things on the external and pursue them blindly thinking that they will satisfy us when the satisfaction is only for a moment and fleeting. What he really points at is that when inner purpose is primary then irrespective of external situations, you can have true joy, peace and happiness. The wonderful bit is that this liberation helps one then enjoy the eternal dimensions to the fullest without getting attached to it. Recently bought two cars because I enjoy them, move into a penthouse but I'm not attached to them and my identity. Even if I loose everything, I'll still be happy because of the joy of life I've found by making inner purpose primary.

Money is the most important thing in life up to a point. You need a certain amount of money in order to exist. Once you have enough to buy a home and have a decent amount of money in the bank to ensure you will be able to live then anything more than that will not bring any true satisfaction. It's not about buying a Ferrari etc, it's about knowing you have enough money to live in peace without worrying about suffering. I know there will be people that say they were at their happiest when homeless and penniless but they are most likely very young people, there is nothing romantic about being out on the streets when you are an older person. I am an older person and do not have money and it is a constant source of anxiety. I refuse to be homeless and would personally rather not exist at all than exist in misery.

Indeed. A proper home, quality food/good nutrition, clean water, the ability to pay for utilities, especially to heat one's home when temperatures drop; the ability to launder one's clothing and replace them when worn; the ability to afford any necessary transportation or medical procedures/costs...so vital. The BASICS are very important, without them, there isn't much peace (for those who live in developed countries).

8:47 If you feel the abundance already, visualization of abundance is very easy if you wanted it. Usually it even comes by itself if you are connected with abundance. If you want to add something as a play or preference, you can. Visualization is playful, nothing more. It's not that important. 🌻🌻🌻🌿🌿🌿🦅🦅🦅🦅 Manifestation and happiness are not the same. Happiness is your true nature. Happiness is the connection with the un-manifested. Life recognizes itself. I am joy. Wonderful teachings! Every teaching methods on manifesting your future, destiny or abundance should include this important caveat: It’s OK to manifest objects or happenings, so long as 1. you do not become addicted or attached to those objects, 2. Your joy [or happiness] does do not depend on those objects. They just make life more fun [icings on cake] and you happily accept if those manifested objects cease to exist or continue.

One of Eckhart's best and most concise descriptions of being. I recently had a very strong sense of the difference between living in thought or living in awareness. I was toggling between the two, it was so obviously two completely different modes of being. The one is complete perceptual immediacy and the other is completely discursive and random. It's a question of being content with no content, and choosing to live in a thoughtless state that is not contingent upon form.
