Luther had said before he died that he wanted to do an entire album of Burt Bacharach and Hal David songs. It's a shame that never happened. But we still have this moving taste of what would have been.

Luther was the best at it. Artist such as James Ingram, Howard Hewett, Teddy Pendergrass , Will Downing, Jeffrey Osborne, Phil Perry, and Peabo Bryson all sound the same way like the CD vs live performance. But Luther was the best.

He sung this song to the ground. Even Dionne Warwick (who sings original song) couldnt contain herself. Plus i hear the Kanye West and Jamie Foxx sample towards the end. Luther was called the Voice before the global commercial stardom of the Great Whitney Houston. Even Whitney knew not the mess with Luther. Plusnit makes me sad that todays artist especially Black artist dont sing like this no more.
