There's no harm in upgrading a situation ship to a more official relationship is mutual. For me it comes off as pre-dating. The people who normally get hurt are the women and I 💯 percent legit blame women. Don't get me wrong I am a woman myself. I can tell you that most women accept casual relationships because deep-down they hope the man will see them for the woman they are and probably get them to marry them. If this is u, then ur already failing the casual relationship!!!! Now the problem is many of us dnt even know the husband material we would want... we are hoping to be chosen by the men and we forget that the power to accept them is held by us! And the moment we have sex a couple times feelings kick in and once they do... we forget that this man doesn't even cut the line for the man u want!!!!! The man is being nice to you, taking care of u and u think u have arrived. Suppse the man is just naturally a nice guy? We forget that there are reasons we had categorized as he dnt fit in to what we want. The other scenario is u thought this man in the casual relationship was a total loser but then when you get to actually know him you are pleasantly surprised that he is actually awesome! That's when you go straight to him and tell him this can't work because of abcd.... not actually staying there in the hopes that the man will choose u eventually. A few of them do, but largely u would be wasting time This is because men always know what they want! Even the losers actually have the ideal wife they want and they have already categorized you...either you fit or u dnt! And they won't change their minds about it simply because you have great sex. No 2: men know when to run away when feelings get involved. Especially when you have good sex, good personallity but still dont fit in the wife picture they have for a few personal reasons. That's where they start ghosting us from. Anyway my 2 cents: as women we dnt even know what we want so we pick the most thing thats available or familiar to us. And we also dnt have the balls to be true to ourselves and walk away.... anyway truthfully we have no balls. So hahaha.

I don't necessarily agree that "most women" are looking for relationships, (we'd need data collected anonymously to back this claim).. I think they've been conditioned to expect and proclaim as much with regards to their sexual needs. But truth is sexual urges from a phisiologial perspective are not exclusive to males. Feeling horny, being stressed out because it's been a long minute since you got some, is normal for all genders, at all stages and ages in life. You can be 50, 67,78,15,20 etc and have needs.. All kinds of varying needs depending on what season you're going through in life. An African woman that owns her identity, is a free woman. I think the conversation could have really highlighted on the critical need for women to embrace their sexual freedom. How they can go about it, how to deal with the guilt of even thinking of being casual, of even being bold enough to go after what you want.. Not all the time waiting to be approached..
