1. Iron Hills and Erebor Reclaimed. Love Dwarves in general but the aforementioned are my favourite (heavily because they are the most competitive Dwarf factions). 2. Gundabad/Azog's Hunters/Legion/etc 3. I guess Angmar cause I've played it a lot recently.

I love running the Defenders of Helm's Deep with Theoden, Gamling, Haldir, and Legolas - you're investing about 400pts into heroes, but you get a ton of Might and shooting. Never played it in doubles, though, so I appreciate Matt's thoughts on that. :-)

Here's a suggestion for another episode topic, especially since Evan talked about doing unspeakable things with Elendil: Playing with and against Red alliances. The thing about red alliances is that you don't really tend to see them all that often, so I at least get thrown off by them and have trouble with things like target priority; where to try and break a force and so on. So if you could cover things like when you might red ally, what to keep in mind when making a red alliance list, what models might be worth the penalties, and what things to watch out for in game when playing with or against a red list.

It's a six game event where every pool will be played once with a kind of veto system. 800-point Minas Tirith army with Fiefdoms allies. I was aiming for a 'toolkit' army where the heroes are capable of doing multiple things. Irolas can tie things up, and has heroic march and bodyguard. Forlong adds hitting power and raises the whole army's courage. Gandalf is the ultimate toolkit by himself. The general gameplan is to advance the main battle-line into the midfield and hold up the opponent while the bolt throwers take them apart. Alternately, Gandalf can castle up with the bolt throwers and protect them with Blinding Light so I can win shooting wars. Gandalf can also light up remote targets in A Clash By Moonlight so the bolt throwers can shoot them. Finally, the axemen can reach S4 by piercing, which adds some much-needed hitting power against D6. Feedback appreciated on my first ever list! Possible List review. 650 tourney. Minas tirith Warband 1 Boromir with horse shield and flag 5 guards with shields 2 knights with shields 3 rangers with spear 5 warriors with shield Warband 2: Huron with horse 2 knights with shield 2 guards with shield 3 rangers with spears 4 warriors with shield 4 warriors with spear and shield. Warband 3 Bolt thrower 35 models, 10 might. Feel good on model count at fight 5 with quite a lot of fights and d6 and 7 across the board helps. Don’t love the bolt thrower but figured it would force armies to come at me or help take out anything bigger. Other option was thinking was a Madril or ingold with some minor changes to the main list. Like ingold to hold the main line so Boromir can go where he might need. Madril would be nice for malstorm but i have enough might if needed for the two warbands. Final thought was taking denethor and adding a couple more warrior or guards and just keeping him back while boromir and hurin can go crazy.

Justice for Ruffians - totally the best faction. :-P I think the Signal Tower has words for Matt. :-P

For the Far Harad camels, if the camels fails to wound a model when charging in, does the model need to stop immediately, or can it still wrap around the model (if it has movement) and then in turn end up in combat with more than 1 model at a time?
