Was a huge site almost like a butlins set up without the pool and games , lovley area great walks cheers 👍

Barnards Castle County Durham, we stay near there at Leekworth caravan/motorhome location at Middleton In Teesdale a hop skip and Jump from B.C. Leekworth is in an amazing location and the facilities are fantastic.

If your up near York try York Caravan Park..its an adult only and the facilities are excellent..only two miles from the centre of York..bus stop right outside the gate and there within 10 mins..highly recommended folks as one if not the best site we've stayed on..

Nicely done Guys. Love West Bay and stayed there a couple of times to play the wonderful Golf Course. Also filmed there was Harbour Lights starring Nick Berry.

Some great site - Only been to Seacroft once but it's perfectly placed to walk into Cromer, Barnard Castle is one of our favourite sites

Some decent ideas there, we actually bit the bullet last night and booked Easter we’re off to Polstead in Suffolk, we’re now booking our Scotland tour for May, fingers crossed we get to do them.....

Rick I reckon polstead is the only site we haven’t stayed at that’s local- ish to us ! But it does look nice and in a beautiful area , I just had a look , love Scotland we may poss go back later in the year , fingers crossed mate but i think we’ll be fine 😀👍

We love West Bay and Bridport, in fact the entire area is wonderful. Dorset is our favourite county. We stay at Highland's End Campsite, which is up on the cliffs around 15 mins away from West Bay on foot, and the route is via a coastal path. There is a campsite actually in the town of West Bay which we once walked round, but it's not for us. I'm going to check out Freshwater Bay. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi graeme , You’ve got the norfolk broads caravan and motorhome club site which is very close by but not a direct view from the van , but I’m sure this site is on the river - www.threeriverscamping.co.uk/

Fantastic guys. Some great sites we would enjoy too. Barnard Castle is just down the road from us. Hope your eye sight is OK and you enjoyed what is now known locally as the "Domonic Cummings Experience " ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks coffeevanners yes I thought I’d get that in about ol Domonic 😂😂 , could you put me right here please as i had to change the video at the last minute after realising barnard castle was in fact teesdale and not teeside ? Or is it under both ? And does it come under County Durham ? Or north York’s ? Thank you for watching the video 👍😄 Mike

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel yes, it's most definitely Teesdale or otherwise known as the Durham Dale's as it is in County Durham. 👍 Heading out up the river Tees is the amazing High Force waterfalls further on from Middleton in Teesdale, a fantastic village, and the road heads right over the tops of the fells into Alston where there is a fantastic steam railway and then onto Aidrians Wall in Northumberland

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Heading east from Barnard Castle is the amazing Raby Castle, The Auckland Project at Bishop Auckland and of course Durham City about 45 minutes drive from Barnard Castle. Three great sites are the Durham caravan and motorhome club site and a private site at Strawberry Bank or Finchale Abbey site.
