About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

That was so frustrating to watch. Literally noone cares when they get griefed. What's the point.

Half of the village is probably too new to understand what was happening, and the other half likely didn’t want to get involved. I’ve done it before where I see a suspicious person, but I want to continue with my plans, so I let them do whatever and hope someone else takes care of it. Twisted is being a big help by taking care of these problems!

@@TwistedHBG Please make a guide on the current killing/posse mechanics. I was leader in my last life and when someone told me to exile a griefer, I tried to use "I exile name" but they stayed my "follower" and were not exiled, this resulted in half the town running after the griefer growling but no one could kill him. I heard there used to be a bug where you need to exile them first before creating the posse but that was fixed apparantly. I didn't have time to read how many people were needed to kill him, the notification was way too fast to read and there doesn't seem to be a way to reproduce the message. Very frustrating when you're LEADER and you still cant do anything about griefers (I used /leader to confirm I am the leader). My only guess is that the griefer managed to get a bunch of people to follow him first and that somehow ended up with me not being able to exile him, even though he was still my "follower". I am so confused and frustrated at this mechanic.

I feel like having at least 2 patches of 3x3 berries is good. I've seen berry patches wiped clean of berries in minutes just from feeding sheep and compost. Once you count in rabbit bait, pies and beginning yum chains, it easy to see why some people would get upset. Maybe a private berry farm, with very careful management could you get away with 1 patch.

I’ve never understood getting rid of all public berry bushes. Berries are still useful for baking and farming, plus they still can be 2 different yum foods, so they are useful to have 1 or 2 public patches around. Sure, a private patch is good for reserve berries and to keep away a bunch of berry munchers, but the obsession of getting rid of all bushes takes away emergency food source, and makes jobs more complicated.

@@noncreativeguy7284 Agreed. I lived a couple lives that did very well with 2 public patches. Plus usually berries providing only 1 pip, usually deters over munching. Although I did live a life where a person was munching all of the carrots and tomatoes. You can't fix stupid.

Berries are the lifeblood of any civilization. You NEED them for compost, and feeding sheep, to get compost, to plant ANYTHING without which you will soon run out of soil. They're the first thing I eat to get my first yum and a go to for new players who don't know how to eat everything. Why in the hell would you try to get rid of them?

Lol, I just finished a game in the 'Doe' family and we had three independent griefers in our small town. They cursed others and tried to rile players up. Killing sheep and taking/hiding resources is the worst, I don't care if you take my bb and name it 'gay'... xD but don't mess up the game for others. It's so difficult to kill them, but at least they can't kill while alone

The Problem that no one helps if there is a greifer is that either they dont know how cause its to complicated or they think it isnt worth it cause the family will die anyway and they dont want to be cursed. I always fight against greifer cause it doesnt feel right to just watch how the town dies even if it ends me up in donkeytown every few days 😅

A yum lesson tutorial added to the game would help people so much, i cant stand berry munchers or babies eating pies! Drives me insane! Such a waste of food.

they are outside home and there is only two people so you can do 1 v 1

The new leadership update means you only need to have a higher number of allies than the other party to kill them. If someone is exiled, they don’t have any. In this case though, in the wild, you can still do solo killing.

Posse is based on the amount of people around the victim. Since there was no one near that person I didn't require a posse to kill them

No. He cursed her. 1. You will not be born even close to person who cursed you. 2. Person who cursed you will see the label above you, and will now that who you was and why you have been cursed.

It likely wouldn’t work because names last for a little while after death to be cursed. This would mean that even if he tried, something would be talked on to make the baby’s name different.

there is curse ban, and i guess there is also a linage ban for some time if you are murdered, and if you die over 30 there is also a ban for 1:30 game time you need to play if i remember right.... was banned three times, guess she wont incarnate there soon...
