Oh my goodness, congratulations!! We have 11 children, and I was on a 100% Vegan Whole Foods Plant-Based Diet for the last 5 births, and they were the best ever! My last 2 babies I had at 40 and 42 years old, and these pregnancies and births were amazing. Enjoy every second!❤

Quick question....We have been plant based for the past 7 years and have 1 baby girl that is thriving with all the veg and fruits plus right now I'm also experiencing our second baby and I was wondering if you have heard about the belief that vegan and vegetarian placentas are less "vibrant"/"healthy" than meat eaters..... I think if you have a well balanced plant based diet your placenta will show it, but I wonder from your experience what you think of this.

How do drs. know what the "healthy placenta" is supposed to look like if they have only seen meat eaters' placentas? Things can be healthy even if they look different, right?

I seriously want to get to know you! I went completely plant based And had the best 6th pregnancy and birth! Then I’ve felt like I was deficient and have tried some meats and probiotics rich organic dairy. Sheeps yogurt , sheeps cheese. I don’t know… breastfeeding took a lot out of me it feels. I am trying to go plant based again. I still feel like I don’t have the complete answer. Julia

Wow! I'm amazed how some people think differently on 😮giving birth and having your children watch. I barely felt it was ok for my two grown up adult girls to watch me give birth on my last two. I feel that child birth is too much for younger children to watch. I know peeps that have watched child birth being young and where tramatized and never wanted to have children because of it and unfortunately never did!😢 I'm sure everyone has a different opinion, to each their own!❤ God bless! Your family is beautiful! I have 7 children myself and gave birth natural, with the same father to all! Been married 34 years this July! My children range from 33 to 4.😂❤

When I gave birth to my son, it was an unmediated and at the hospital. I wanted to do a water birth but things went too fast. I kicked everyone out of the room but my husband. I turned off the lights and my eyes were closed the entire time. My water never broke so that was hard because my midwife did end up having to break it for me but after that. It was three contractions and he was out. I loved giving birth and other than being in the hospital, it was perfect and exactly what I wanted...

Both of you make such a great team! Welcome to the world, baby Zoe! Our daughter had a homebirth, and it was such a perfect experience! A big plus was the fact that you didn’t have to go to a hospital, you had the opportunity to stay in your own surroundings and after the birth, it was so comforting to be able to just stay and relax. Also having her other children there to see was such a beautiful experience. She had a great midwife and Doula and that makes all the difference.

I'm older, in my late 50's and my 3 kids are all grown now, but it's always lovely to celebrate with others the birthing of their children..
