Our Visit to the Amazon in Peru 🇵🇪

Жыл бұрынWe spent four days exploring the Amazon Jungle/River! We saw monkeys, sloths, caiman, bats, a Blue Morpho butterfly and so much more. We flew into Iquitos, drove 1&1/2 hours to the village of San Joaquin where we got on a boat to head up river for another hour and a half. We stayed at the Grand Amazon Lodge, which was amazing! We had our own guide for the duration of our trip.

Thanks for the video. How did you choose this lodge over the others? Could you swim with the dolphins?

I just liked that this lodge had personal guides and excursion choice so I picked it. The dolphins were in an area we could swim but we did not get in with them. They would have just left the area if we had. I do highly recommend this experience though! I hope this helps 😊
