@@Stanzi18 It's tough to find a solid Biblical Church in some areas.... In fact its hard to find genuine Christians who are truly living sacrificially for Christ. I moved to Colorado four years ago. I find a lot of religion, traditions and ideas that have been established by various denominations..... but not true Biblical Christianity. The majority of the churches in my area have woman pastor and elders... rock shows instead of worship... and salesman instead of pastors who cater to the lost with there seeker sensitive message's on Sunday morning instead of feeding the flock. Home churches are nothing but social clicks and book clubs. We serve a supernatural God and we are lead by a spirit who lives in us.... yet the reformed crowd denies the power and the charismatic's abuse it..... I have only found scattered remnants of the Church in my area... I want to be with a body of believers who desire to go deeper... My walk with Christ is everything to me... I constantly find myself defending the faith to other believers.... Its hard when you have to explain to other 'christians' why you have surrendered your life to God... why you are praying and waiting in faith for God to bring you a spouse... work... a home... health... whatever... It seems like people want to do what they want to do and expect God to bless it... I know.. because I was one of those people. It seems as if everyone has a different idea of what Christianity looks like... the older I get... the more I take the Bible and its message literally.

The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

11:35 he states that if he could only came to pray in Northern Ireland it would be enough, I think he could have done quietly & sincerely, but his objective is to appear humble. He clearly isn't though most people won't recognise it because The Set Apart Spirit is not in them... In the end he prays that people come to the song & then to Christ which is another example of his priorities! Many are called but few are chosen, it is written...

We all want the same thing...a sound mind. One that is not moved by the foolery of men or the eventualities of life. We spend all of our time and resources in pursuit of this mind. Unfortunately, we are looking in all the wrong places. Sin says the sound mind can be obtained through human effort. You would think we would know better than that as the numbers don’t bear out the idea that we have the ability to create it. This guys def. of sin fell far short of the truth. His was a particularly legalistic description. Shame...

Mr C I might have missed it. Can you please tell me why you think so? I think he is right. If u read Romans 1 I believe that's where he drew this def from. I am sure there is a deeper meaning to sin. But in summary I believe he gave a good one. If u listen to other piper sermons he really hammers on sin really good. I say so because I listen to him a lot. If u don't mind I will appreciate to hear why you think he is wrong. I might learn something new from u
@mr.c2485

etape kang It’s not to say that he is wrong...he’s just particularly vague as to the knowledge of sin from one person or group to another. Calling sin a preference must be categorized by the understanding of who it is we are talking about. The Sin of an Israelite is much different than the sin of a gentile. Just saying...we can’t just make a blanket statement about the power and knowledge of sin just because we’re all “lost sinners”. Paul’s letter to Rome makes the distinction especially clear.

@@mr.c2485 I mean yes but any sin deserves wrath and punishment and all sinners go to hell. No one is righteous no not one. With that in mind I think no matter if the punishment is different in hell I think he just wants to save sinners, so he isn't too concerned with getting into the particulars of sin.

Also something that is not taught in traditional churches nowadays is the teachings of Christ in Lections XLVI verse 12 We are taught that if a person desires to be a disciple of Christ we must Not eat any flesh from any animal or bird. In the beginning in Genesis 1:29-30 YAHUAH stated very clearly that He gave the herbs, fruits, and seeds for meat to sustain mankind and to sustain the animals. We were never ordained to eat any type of flesh meat that had blood in it. This may be a hard saying but we dine with demons that have influenced men to slaughter innocent animals and birds for our pleasure. This is a great sin and if you are a true follower of Christ we must obey it! The command "Thou shalt not kill" meant not to kill anything, for pleasure in food, or for profit, nor torment any living creature which has the breath of life in it given by YAHUAH. This is in Lections XLVI and Exodus 20:13. I am open to spend more time teaching on these subjects and laws given through Christ but one must have an open heart and an ear to hear. Moses gave laws on certain animals to eat out of the hardness of their hearts in the wilderness even though Yah commanded them not to and they ate and fell by the thousands from the plagues that consumed them from eating flesh meat. Roman Emperor Constantine in the 4th century changed the food laws in scripture that it was ok to eat meat. It was never ok. Praise the Father YAHUAH

Did the Lord author Lections? You must have missed the parts in Scripture that commanded the complete slaughter of animals in the sacrificial system to atone for sin, the command of the priests to eat what was sacrificed, and the command to Peter in Acts to "Rise, kill, and eat." The Bible is God's chosen, ordained absolute revelation of himself. Not Lections, the Gnostic gospels, or any other text, ancient or modern.

@@yahuahthemosthigh6789 Watch the video and hear it for yourself. Oh my. Which absurd conspiracy theory do you believe? It was all Constantine's fault? Are you even trained in textual criticism? Have you read any of the textual variants in Greek or Hebrew? Do you even know what the variants are? Because I am trained, I've read many of the manuscripts, and I can account for them since the linguistic value of most of them is nil (like the moveable ν (nun) for example). But none of that matters to you. So what you're saying is that 12 disciples by necessity requires 12 gospels, and any other view is man tampering? Or how about the simple fact that none of the other apostles WROTE a gospel? There is exactly 0 evidence that Peter, James, Thomas, or any others wrote a gospel within their lifetime. Undoubtedly you will list for me the Gospel of Peter, the Gospel of Judas, or the Infancy Gospels of Thomas. Oh, you mean those texts which were written centuries after Jesus' time? You affirm Genesis and Exodus, yet these very texts plainly contradict your invented theological system as you yourself have shown that you need some other text to support your claims. You claim to represent Jesus, yet deny the texts he himself affirmed. You challenge the apostles, but on what basis? Unreliable versions of Jesus' life and teaching written centuries after his time? Or will you instead cite Jesus' words in the four gospels themselves to me, the very gospels which the apostles wrote? You claim the Bible has been tampered, particularly in translation, yet you do not know Greek or Hebrew and know nothing to prove your claims. That is why I say your own words testify against you. And so it will be with your own words and testimony that you yourself will be judged. I'll say this one last time and be done with it: repent and believe the gospel. Repent of the absurdity you know you live in, and come to Christ. Listen to his own words about himself and turn to him and believe!
