It's so great Noah is learning some additional life skills. I can tell how much of an effort it is to remain positive while teaching him (and dealing with all the other kid's needs). You are doing a great job Mama!

Great job Noah, first time cooking on the stove and doing so much yourself and trying so hard too! I had to laugh when he said 'Mom you're weird' my 10 year old tells me that exact thing on a daily basis. I love the vlogging that you do, it's real and that's something I appreciate when watching vlogs. You're a great Mom doing what needs to be done and what's best for your child, while screen time isn't ideal sometimes it is what is needed and helps the most. I think all Moms think they are getting it wrong. I know I certainly do.

I can’t imagine how hard day to day life is keeping up with the responsibilities of your job. The first two to three years of my little guys life was very stressful for me because we were in a period of transition and going through some really crappy things but that is all in the past now, thank God! “Tough times don’t last but tough teams do!” Y’all are awesome.

I know I don’t know him in real life but I felt so proud watching him learn to prepare a meal on the stove with you! Also looks like Mama Stephanie makes BOMB grilled cheese. That sizzle!! Oh and I teared up when he opened the cheese successfully! I’m not even PMSing 😂

Babe, if you are doing your best to love, support, spend as much time with your kids you are a great parent! No one can tell you different! No parent is the same, and as long as you put your best effort into their well being, to me, that’s good parenting, f*** the rest. I’m sure people said things to my parents about my brother and his temper, etc but they also didn’t have an autistic child to handle from day to day, so who are they to judge. Keep up the great work.

You and fatheringautism live near each other. Maybe they would be a good resource for you to get good therapy. Don't give them your time of day. You're doing the best you can, and that is more than some people. Have a beautiful day! :)

So I am going to homeschool for 3rd grade next year. I am so glad that your channel is here to help me try to figure everything out. And having someone to relate to is so comforting. I love your personality. Your real and that's awsome. Your family is beautiful. Hope your day gets less stressful. 😊

You are an awesome mom! My 6 year old son was just diagnosed with autism 2 months ago, and I have been binge watching your channel. I've worked with kids with autism, but it is so different experiencing this life as a mother. It feels so overwhelming at times, but there is also so much joy in having a child with autism. I love that you show both sides of life with autism. Thank you!

Your doing great! Please don't feel like you have to please anyone or any of us. It's about you doing what's best for your family, because only you could possibly know what that is! As mom's we always have to remind ourselves of things in the chaos! Keep it up, you seem to be doing more than managing. Your proactive and aware and that's important when you're a mom. Realizing when your doing your best and how to make things easier so can improve is also important. I see you doing it all and a bunch of happy kids! Love your blogs! 💜💜💜

Also great use of effective praise in this video! That is great for almost all kids and it’s not done enough. Parents think just saying “good job” in a monotone voice after doing something is enough and sometimes it might be, but when you get into replacing that with describing the specific behaviour you’re praising while doing so it really becomes redundant and ineffective. So glad I subscribed to this channel!

I love what u did with Danielle by scaring her while on the phone. U are doing a great job complimenting Noah on his biiig huge accomishment. I'm soo proud of Noah. Way to go noah. Remember that when u are the stove, always have an adult supervise. And steph, even tho he's using technology a lot, changing is really really hard especially for him. Using a sticker reward system is good. And let's say if he gets two stickers in a row, reward him with something special that he likes. I heard that music makes autism calm down too. So maybe singing is a try. Thank u for reading our comments and u are such an amazing mom by juggling a lot. U get an sticker for that.

I so completely sympathize with you. My almost 9 year old son has autism and ADHD. It's mentally exhausting. He has cried or melted down all day today about everything. We have 2 girls who are 5 and 6 and neurotypical. They go to public school but I homeschool my son. Homeschooling is tough. I just realized you are in Florida too. If you don't have the Gardiner scholarship for homeschooling look into it. They are filling up every year and now have a wait list but it's so worth it. It's diagnosis based. So his autism would qualify him.

Parenting is pretty challenging, I think at the end of the day, if everyone is ok and no one is injured and ok then that's what I called a successful day of parenting. It's real life some days are harder than others. My stepkids love the electronics too. Noah did a good job cooking and following instructions as well.

I rarely drink soda but if you guys wanna treat yourself and have a soda every once in a while, you can try Whole Foods brand soda, they're made with pure cane sugar and don't have dyes in them (the color comes from the cane sugar). We like to keep their ginger ale on hand because there is real ginger in it, unlike most ginger ales.

I never knew people to do this.. just felt like one day, I need to film what it is that I go through.... I TRY to be a good mom. And with my oldest he just makes me feel like I fail at that. I completely understand the technology things. During the winter, my son was sick from December 15th until January 20th of this year. He played with his ipad all day long because if he ran around he would get more sick. I was also in the early stages of pregnancy so I just puked all day and couldn't properly take care of him. I noticed his behavior was horrible immediately. It took a month to get him back into the swing of things. I tell people they can just fuck off because it's not their kid, their life, their place to say anything. Can you maybe get a swing in your house to help calm him? ( I don't know if you have one). There are some cool ones at costco right now that have rope as the seat.
