I love your video and your channel! As a learner of ASL and Deaf culture, I was wondering if you can make a video about a time where Zach interacted with Courtney's friends (who may be hearing) in social events? Like, do you guys pass notes back and forth with hearing friends? Do the hearing friends take ASL classes for communicating with him? Zach, I would love to hear your perspective and advice on what do you want the hearing people to know when interacting with a Deaf person in general.

I like sign language, very expressive and it’s lot of fun and gives tranquility after watching KZfaq for a while and hearing all the noice. Watching you I enjoyed the beauty of the language!

I'm currently learning ASL (this year is my second year taking it) through my one friend. I LOVE IT! The Deaf/deaf communities are so amazing! I love the culture and the signing is so amazing! I'm hoping to further my education in ASL and pray that I can incorporate into my career!

I'm hearing, but I really need to learn ASL because sometimes I go nonverbal or otherwise have much difficulty speaking (I'm autistic). It would be so much easier to be able to sign instead. Mom took a few semesters of ASL probably 2 decades ago, and I could easily teach her what I learn. My brother would be able to pick it up. Don't know about my dad, he relies heavily on the spoken or written word, and usually can't discern gestures. No idea if he could learn sign.

I’m 15, and I have been teaching myself ASL for 4 years online now. Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be an ASL interpreter. Now that I’m older, I’ve been more focused on the salary part, and if I will be able to make a living out of that salary when I’m older. Since you both probably have a lot of experience either in interpreting/with interpreters, do you think you could provide some information on this topic. Love ur videos btw!

You can definitely make enough as a sign language interpreter. There are also so many fields of interpreting you can work in. You can be a FreeLance (FL) interpreter, which is awesome because you can set your own schedule, but isn't always consistent. You can do FL and VRS Video Relay service, which is pretty consistent. You can become a staff interpreting at universities or k-12 schools. When you are certified and if you wish you can work in hospitals or even legal settings.

OurSignedWorld so I started to write out a description but it got really confusing so here’s the Wikipedia page: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codenames_(board_game). I definitely think that it’s a game that would work in ASL without losing any of the essence of the game! I actually played it with a group of friends last month and one of the players is an ASL interpreter, but since I was the only other person who knows how to sign (though English is my first language), the other players said we had to play in English so the person who is an interpreter couldn’t send me secret messages while deceiving the other players, haha
