I’m single and live in a tiny apartment. Some days I feel great disappointment that I’ve not been blessed with children or that I cannot afford to buy my own home. Some KZfaqrs always seem to be showing off their fancy houses, cars and vacations. It can be difficult to see that and not compare myself to those situations, so most of the time I avoid that kind of content because it just makes me feel bad. Something I love about this channel is that I never feel like Sarah & Solo are show offs. When I watch this channel i feel genuine excitement for all the big & little things happening for their family. I think in part because they are so down to earth I’m able to witness their blessings without feeling sad or jealous. It’s so nice to have something positive & wholesome to subscribe to. Im totally living vicariously watching the house build unfold! Can’t wait to see that pantry and baby #12!

@Caroline. Well you could start a You Tube channel. Once these channels are up to 300k they are earning big money. Plus sponsorship money etc. Of course that can take a while to get to. But being disappointed in yourself is sad. Try not to compare. Not everyone is cut out for videoing themselves. Most people are still in traditional employment.

You have so much on your plate, homeschooling 11 children, a small house, a new house, all the animals, and now a new baby? You are taking on so much!! I agree. A lot of large families homeschool which I don’t understand. I would think with so many and little ones that aren’t school age and now a newborn, she needs some alone time.

Put lots of plugs in the house everywhere. Outlets in island all over it and maybe a couple of those outlets that pop up in the island. Can’t have enough outlets

I love watching the building process! When we built our house we had the entire family take sharpie markers and write their favorite bible scriptures on the wood before the sheet rock went up. It’s been a fun reminder as the house is lived in now, they can remember where their verse is! Just a fun idea as a family to do! ❤

Im enjoying the house tours. I love blueprinting and it’s fun watching your house go up. I get a pleasure from the animals, kids, music, church and now the pregnancy and new house. All your children speak very well. They all seem very bright and have creativity skills. I like how they all play and are not hooked on electronics. Congratulations on the house and especially excited for baby. Sending prayers for an easy pregnancy. I would utilize storage under the stairs with drawers.

So exciting! We built our retirement home in South America, moved in eight months ago. It was so fun designing and planning it all! But I will say , no more building!!! Especially in another country. But we love it .

Yikes! You all being in that construction zone makes me SO nervous!! That is an awful accident waiting to happen! A friend fell backwards from the second floor of her daughter’s house when it was under construction, broke her back and is still suffering 20 years later. PLEASE be careful. 😥 I am surprised the construction company let’s you go through it. 😳

One thing we put in , in a few places is motion lights. In our back hall so when your hands are full you do not need to reach for lights. We also have them in our pantry, laundry and master toilet area. In my pantry I have a floor to ceiling lazy susan which I love.

I would love a video with all the music skills of the tribe oldest to youngest. You are such a great teacher. So soothing to listen to the music. Kids with piano, Sarah you doing violin, piano and cello. And one of the kids did guitar. Could be a full video idea 😊

A few videos ago, I think they said the eldest four will always have their own which will be en suites. Then, there will be a boys' room and a girls' room. Add in the master and the nursery downstairs and that will be eight. Unless this baby is a boy, Seth will have the boys' room to himself in not so many years. 😊

I could never teach calculus or trigonometry. I left school to the experts and our small town in Michigan had first class schools. They now have two high schools and that tells you they are exceptional.

When I see the house I imagine grown children coming home for visits with their families and everyone all together, laughing and talking and playing. It will be a house full of joy. So happy to see the progress on the beautiful home, Sarah! Thank you for the homeschool tips. Also...please try wiping your teary eyes outward instead of rubbing them inward. I personally think they help prevent the wrinkles and sagging underneath the eye by encouraging it to tighten and lift. Try it out...I could just be trippin, but it works for me.

You may have allergy eyes. I don’t cough or sneeze but once that wind starts blowing my eye starts getting itchy. The Indiana Popcorn Company or Boom Chick A Pow wow, both sell dry flavorful popcorn. When feeling kinda woozy 🤮dry popcorn helped me. Just a thought. Sarah you’re in my prayers. 16:33

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You incorporated iXL into your children’s learning experiences. My daughter is now 21 and a Senior (🥰) in college for nursing. Anyhow, I started teaching her counting, her alphabets, word recognition and so forth as soon as she started talking (2yr). I was introduced to iXL when she preschool and it helped me open her learning world even more. She Love it!! There is another site Math is fun The site covers preschool to 12th grade. It’s an Excellent site for children to learn and strengthen their math skills. We Loved it. Anyhow, I was so excited to her you speak about iXL. Through out the years I’ve recommended the site to other parents. Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing with us.

My kids' public school uses IXL. The kids love it and it really helps fill in the gaps of concepts they miss or need to spend some more time on.

We use IXL and love it - been a fantastic supplement to her learning (we homeschool but use a public school curriculum since we are also able to access OT, speech therapy and other services that way). My 9yo has several learning difficulties and the way they structure the lessons is really gentle when they get things wrong which has been our issue with other online companies. Also that every question and answers have read allowed options, she can read but with her learning difficulties she sometimes needs the text to speech for comprehension. It's funny, it makes her feel so much smarter that even though in some subjects she is more comfortable in 1st grade but others she is up to 4th grade - plus the interface is so easy for them she rarely needs any input from me which helps her feel more independent. And all the positive feedback really helps - she loves looking at her certificates and her achievements. We are coming up on 4000 questions answered! She has to do 4 lessons each day, two reading and one of her choice at grade level and the last whatever she wants to do.

We also have a big loft that overlooks the living area and my Littles are always up there playing! Only had a few toys come flinging over the railing 😂
