Thank you for the video! Looking to run this and your comment on the pacing issue + advice on splitting the module in two is very useful! My favourite part of the book is in fact the underdark exploration and how much like a weird fiction setting it is (makes me think of the Sunless Skies and A House of Many Doors) compared to the usual Faerun games. Very interesting book that has a lot of super fun content for running underground traveling/exploration.

I'm actually running just the second half for my players; they're playing Dragon Heist rn and have strong connections to Jarlaxle, Bregan D'aerthe, and Gauntlgrym established, so I'm currently trying to write in a way to pull them into the second half of the game while including some homebrew backstory quests in some of the various locations in the Underdark that they can explore as well

Hey since you already did this one you should do Mad Mage as well its fun

Currently running it, the players seem to be having a blast and we just reached the dark lake. :) pretty fun to DM too!

I played in this module and enjoyed it! Plenty of memorable set pieces.

I picked this module up from a used bookstore. I appreciate and understand the idea to "split this into two campaigns"!

I have only ran about half of season 3 modules which Adventure League produce. Have not ran the book. But I am tried of running Harried in Hillsfar DDEX3-1 at cons.

Maybe its becuz my characters are based off my mindset of if i had these powers at that moment i felt more compelled to stay and stop the demons. Had a long convo wit the team and made them thibk why would the demons stop at the underdark and not take everything. Idk just my thoughts on it

14:41 Simple... Make them do Downtime Activities (present in Xanathar's) for the suggested 3 months in between. I made my group do it. The Barbarian became Neverwinter's Triple H, the Bard f*ck*d around and found out in a library where he found the Book of Vile Darkness, the paladin resorted to crime after continuous failed attempts to earn gold and the Druid smoke p*t all day everyday in Neverwinter Wood.
