Out of the Gloom we see the Crimson Saturn

In a gloomy day the 40,000-ton bulk carrier Crimson Saturn arrives off Portishead with a cargo of wood chip bound for Portbury. A couple of tugs sail out to meet her, whilst a RN Patrol Boat hurries past.

Hi chris, i'v had a love of anything to do with the bristol channel since my younger days, and having discoverd your channel months ago today we visited sharpness docks as per your video, what a lovely place, we have said we will make sure we come back when there is a departure or arrival as that must be an amazing site to see. Nice video of a vsl passing The Point, at my hometown where I spent many an hour watching the ships passing when I was a teenager. More recently I have been aboard several of these typical Japanese woodchip carriers in Asian ports. Well run, with all Filipino crew. When did you film this? Vsl is at present in Vietnam.
