A trip to the coop from earlier in May to check for eggs. Fiona the papillon-mix joined in, and Ladybug the hen showed off the little squat she does when she wants a scratch!
Pulled this out of the archive today because even though all four hens laid this morning, Marley's egg had signs of a broken vessel in her vent (the part of chickens eggs come through), and I didn't want to alarm anyone! Keeping a close eye on her, but she seems happy and unbothered, and it's fairly common for hens just starting to lay.
