I install the lightweight minimalistic crash bars from Outback Motortek on my 2018 KTM 690 Enduro. These bars have excellent fit and finish and installed easily without a hitch. I have the same crash bars but in Husky blue fitted to my 701. Had them on the bike a year now and I can truly vouch for them, they work well! 👍

im on my third set first bike 2020 CB 500x 2922 Tenere and soon i hope they come out with a set for my 2020 500 exc-f 6 days .love the light weight stuff on our smaller bikes thank u Outback Motortek .good spot to put a tube a saw and some tools

Brother👌what a great idea filming out in the sticks, love it mate.. 2kg is awesome, all the more room for a 30pack on the back... that'll get the front wheel off the ground, I hope you have a great Christmas 🎄 my friend, stay safe and be extra vigilant as it's Yowie season, I can hear them at night doing unspeakable things to each other.. far out man, I'd hate to get caught whilst installing those bars mate, your one of the lucky ones...🍻

Hello Josh! First, have a Happy Christmas enjoy the break, take some time out; The Information and demonstration of the installation of the Crash Bars was spot on! Great Production; I am a firm supporter and user of Crash Bars, its a safety device for Rider and Bike. Its fun having two bikes....I hope to have my Second, Touring bike soon.... David.....Adelaide/Kilburn......Triumph Street Scrambler 900.......

Isnt the rule of thumb for Torque, tighten them till they go click ? Solid bit of kit for your orange blossom. Cheers 🍻

I went the same on my 690. Had the b&b rad brace on my 701 but the radiator still cracked.

My torque setting is usually 2 grunts past firm, can vary from light grunts to heavy grunts depending on the job 😎 I got a really nice price on a Gas Gas, flipping the coin to see if I do or not 🤔 Merry Christmas Mad Dog 😎👍

Hi, like the 690. just bought one. so now I'm going to equip it with what I want or have to have to suit what I'm going to do with it. wondering what you think about fuel dongle or power commander 6. or do you think it works as it is. thanks for a super good channel.... the best to you //Erik

This bike has the Fuel Torque dongle on it, not sure what difference it makes as I haven't ridden it without it. People seem to reckon they help though 🍻 cheers mate

you definitely do not need those crash bars. a clearly sponsored video. the only time that I busted the radiator on the 690, these crash bars would have done nothing. I used to have touratech crash bars on a 690 and I ended up removing them -unnecessary weight and unnecessary protection. I've crashed 690 bikes loads of times. 690 crashes well. outback motortek sponsoring you? way more important other accessories to purchase. I guess you're trying to make a living from these videos.

Individual use and situation I guess, I have a 690 SMC R and was looking into these as protection for the trellis frame, engine cover and as much faring as possible in case it takes a fall on asphalt, not so much the radiator. I'd probably put them on an enduro too for the same reason

@@fentfriedrice i have both a 690e and a 690 sumo -converted from enduro. i can tell you from many crashes on both bikes -including tumbling down the side of trail into trees, there far more important items on which to spend money. 690 crashes very well and.... it's all good. do what brings you joy.
