Watching this live is one of the biggest gaming highlights of my life. Post game seeing Szalami in the chat saying “IM SHAKING” “ BRB I NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL” “IM LITERALLY HAVING A HEART ATTACK” was so hilarious. I can’t imagine how hard it was to keep his composure in the last couple minutes 😂. Aussie, PLEASE never stop the octagon tournaments. They are so much fun and produce the best games.

@@Cookingwith.Daniel Realise this is a long time after you posted, but I'm going through this series now. I think it's because two different people are on the site and they sorta 'counter' each other so the timer keeps ticking. So not only did Striker take ages to come he actually handed the win to Szalami by keeping those troops on the site instead of letting Matiz decap lol

For me personally this was the most exciting AOE4 moment to watch so far! This was so thrilling I didnt believe it when I saw it. Awesome performance and btw thanks to Drongo and all others who helped to make this tournament happen

This was the most audacious, outrageous, unexpected, impossible attempt I've ever seen. The fact it worked only makes it more glorious. I watched all of the games, this was THE HIGHLIGHT of an entire tournament that featured many!

That was unbelievable. And it was so close! He lost the Elzbach and villagers were rapidly dying. Had just one more player showed up he probably wouldn't have got the victory. That might be the craziest thing I've ever seen in AOE4.

OO2 was a great tournament and very entertaining to spectate (most of the times). watching the madman szalami pull this off live was just the icing on the cake. great commentating overall as well, especially when you casted with partners.

Maybe Szalami put the relics in the tower in the middle so he could collect more relics from the middle faster by reducing the walking distance. Edit: maybe that was part of it but the mad lad went all the way and put an Elzbach on it. I didn't check the video length and I was so sure Szalami would lose the sacred site but god, the wololo god actually won the whole thing.
