Love the family atmosphere. Elena is right - the sound of silence is deafening! I remember, back in ‘67 on a school trip to The Alice, walking ahead of the bus at Kingoonya, SA. The silence was awesome. Best scones I have had were at Daydream Mine, Silverton. Cooked on a wood fired oven.

My fave part is ALWAYS Elenya’s gourmet cooking. Don’t lose that💜 that first free camp - could you tell me where that was please?? Nothing more can say that’s not already been said. Sooooo excited someone is finally doing the outback QLD treks! Especially Longreach. We absolutely love it there. Never taken the van though but have travelled there. Lara wetlands is defo on the adventure list. Can wait until next ep!

Have you ever made a egg in hole on bread you make a hole in the bread put butter in the pan then the bread and add the egg cook then salt and pepper to taste

Lara wetlands what a spot. We've been there four times now and never disappoints. If you guys get a chance go to Charlotte Plains Station, and not forgetting those artesian baths tubs absolutely brilliant. Safe travelling

Hi Judy (: the van came with an installed diesel heater but all we do to turn it on is flick 2x switches to turn it on - but I know there’s a heap of install videos on KZfaq if you are needing to install one (: just message if you have any other questions (:

Hi guys . We have a camper trailer, with no grey water tank. Is it possible to stay at Lara ? And how do u think we would go about catching grey water. Fairly new to this style of travel . But love it !!! Thanks

Hi James (: at Lara they actually said we can deposit the grey water on the grass when we were there which many places you can’t however you can always use a large drum or bucket to catch it all 👍 it’s handy as a lot of places now say you can’t deposit your Grey water at the sites etc (: any other questions feel free to message us 👍

hi darren. we do have a Hema they are great for the off-road tracks and contour line etc but if your just using them as a normal nav man I would just use a phone. thanks for watching.
