The OSR improves on other outboard kits in more ways than one. In addition to the higher strength DOM steel, the FGP kit utilizes frame plates to add load bearing strength at the mounting points, as well as radius’d upper mounts to give more weld surface and strength than your typical outboard hoop. This kit was built to outperform the competition, plain and simple.
The FGP OSR is designed to be compatible with any spring and smooth body 2.0 shock with a 10” or 12" stroke. If you plan on keeping factory geometry, go with the 10s! 12in shocks require limit straps to prevent binding in the driveline with stock geometry. If you plan on getting our upcoming 3-link kit, or already have a long travel rear setup, go with the 12s!
