@brickbybric I disagree with your comment. The bullseye wheel is very fitting in with the surroundings, arches look amazing as well. Lets just wait to see the finished article and I'm sure you will have a change of mind. Well done Rob.... A true craftsman who knows his trade. NOT many of us left my friend.

fantastic brickwork rob , regarding the bars and security think it would be better with a more substantial bar painted black for looks ,also build in vertical stop any invaders using it as a ladder to hop over the wall

Couple of small flint panels would look nice and we’d use yellow tint visors on the bike in drying conditions, helps make the wet patches stand out👍🏼

Hi Rob, pleasure to watch as always, any chance you could share the name of the brick and/or where you order from, not sure if missed it in the video 😅 cheers!

The bricks are actually a Warrington Red regrade, terrible to use, but cheap. The whole job is being done for free, my time and I'm buying bits and pieces, so actually, it's being done at my cost...lol. which means not everything is the quality id like.

@@robsonger1 Always wondered, what makes bricks nice to use/lay, e.g I see people saying lbc Tudors are terrible and Noris are nice?

The work itself is good but it’s not really in keeping with its surroundings it’s all a bit higgledy-piggledy and those threaded bars look gammy rob.
@bricklayersworldwithandy62775 ай бұрын
Nice work Rob, personally would have had a Blacksmith make a nice grill up instead of the threaded bar but I understand you not wanting to pay for that 👍

That threaded bar looks crap get some nice grills made up
@robsonger15 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and with regard to your suggestion i think grills are too noticeable. On the churches I worked on in the past they all have horizontal glazing bars, so I believe this is in keeping and subtle.
