I’ve always believed that spherical was better as that’s how our eyes are shaped so it’s good to hear that these are great.

Spherical is meant to be better, especially for no distortion at the periphery of the goggle lens… to be honest I’ve never noticed it enough to make a difference to me and I prefer the cylindrical look

Hi Simon. Another goggle to test out. A few years ago I had some Dirty Dog goggles (I think there are the Mutant model). Mag tech, 2 lenses. Cost me about £60. I prefer them to the £300+ Anon M4s. Quality was great. Mirrror lense was awesome, low light lense is the best I’ve used. I sold my M4s and will go back to DDs again next time I go away.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve seen some Dirty Dog but never tried them… I’ll keep my eyes out for a bargain: When is your next trip?

OMG, I don’t know tbh. Hopefully next season! I’ve started working for myself this year, mortgage gone up, etc etc etc. need to make sure I’ve contributed to the house before spunking two grand on a snowboard trip. Need to save up. And find a luxurious, cheap high altitude chalet 😅

Looked them up, doesn't seem like they have any contrast boosting tech, maybe the wrong model?

Do you mean the Dirty Dog ones@@rauliuxaa ? TBH I don;'y know if it does have that tech but I still had really good low light vision. Overcast snowy days. For the money they were fantastic. Depends how much you ride and what you are used to I suppose. But like this vlog Simon has done, you don't need to spend over £300 on goggles unless you're a bit of a (brand) snob. I'd rather put £200 towards my holiday and lift pass.

@chuzzwade288 yeah ATM I'm wearing 40euro goggles and more often then not they suit me fine. Looked into the falcons of outdoormaster, but sadly they only have few of them available in Europe, and even these available don't ship to my country anyways,which is sad. I'm able to find Oakley goggles for 100 in sales tho, which I reckon I'll do if I'm unable to get outdoormaster

You normally head to Kitzbuhel right.. do they offer night skiing?

@@Simonjburgess No night skiing in the main valley, as it is residential. However, from about 7 years old where I have learnt to ski in CZ, we have always gone night skiing. Night skiing hits on another level! Makes you go all tingly.
