Suggestion : add a section where you do common tasks with the gear or simulate doing the action to show flexiblity/noise/fit/etc. All in all good review.

Do you think its worth getting the prior year's model for the cost-savings or is this year's model that much better?

Hey Simon! Good question. I have not worked with the previous version, so can not 100% say. But, I would venture to guess that it would be ok to save that money and get the previous years.

Have you tried the Arcteryx Rush bibs? If so how do these compare? Really interested in these OR bibs.

Hello! I have not used the Rush bibs. But I have used several other arcteryx bibs. Many of them goretex pro. They hate been very good. I was just using these bibs today splitboarding and they are still super great. They are the best bibs I have used in several ways. They move well, breath well and carry my beacon well.

These look great, thanks for the review! Is there any type of drop seat in the back? Love the avy transceiver pocket up high, very cool. Final question, internal gaiters?

I am super impressed with these! Great internal gaiters. Awesome reinforcement in the inner leg for protection from ski edges too. Heck, the protection goes all the way around the boot area! I wish I added a view of that to the video. Partial drop with the right hand full zipper access.

How is the durability of this? I heard the hemispheres shred easily from boots.

I have only had one season on them, and they are doing good. No issues with my hardboots effecting them.

These were prototype for testing. Looks like the “ll” version is the same. Just different colors. We will have the jacket to test next week too. Will keep you updated. Take care!
