Same here, aspergers (autism spectrum), don't like to go/be outside because there's loads of people...can't stand it. These videos help me too to "disconnect" from that crazy stuff outside. We'll manage, just try to be safe in your "safe spot", nothing wrong with that! (and i don't mean that covid shite). When shit hits the fan, we just go hide in our safe shell/little cave, only to come out when the waters calm down (and people stop poking us). You're not alone!

I have been watching for like 2 years now. I remember when you quit the sushi place for youtube and I remember the first time you used those same pots and pans with the green handles that u did camping in this video. I remember the first time you went diving with some people on the channel and now ur comfortable enough to go solo even if it was in a small cove. Your video production has gotten so much better and just everything. I am so excited for you to get more viewers. Keep the amazing content coming!

I really appreciate these videos Taku, they've helped rekindle my passion for nature and cooking this year. It's great that you are touching on the overabundance of the urchins and how they are destroying the kelp forests. The Elakha alliance is trying to get sea otters reintroduced in Oregon and other parts of the west coast. The sea otters are the natural predators for these urchins and since the otters have been wiped out, the urchins are taking over. If anyone is interested in helping I encourage them to check out the Elakha Alliance website for more information.

@@georgiegan Wrong. I don't know why people spew misinformation without looking it up. 2 cups of seawater boiled off would have produced enough salt to salt his dish. 12 cups will produce 100 grams. I learn so much from your videos. Next time I go fishing with the family I can use some of those skills to empress my live ones. Your positive energy is always shown in your videos. Stay blessed my brother. And you too Joslin.
