Have you checked out Muller choke tubes? Surviving duck season did a series of videos on shot string and chokes and ammo and found that non ported tubes pattern better than ported tubes 100% of the time

I had the same issue not leaving the camera on but I invested in the go pro remote for your wrist GAME CHANGER! No more reaching up fumbling around or being seen quick tap on the wrist and good to go

I see the appeal of the .20... sweet handling, less recoil. But I think we can all (or most of us) agree that .12 3” or more is the better choice on Canada geese. I’m getting older and have a couple of shoulder surgeries so the recoil thing is significant for me. I guess that’s what Motrin is for . :). Awesome hunt boys! Congrats! Top-notch content as usual! I shoot a 20 gauge magnum. 3 inch shells get the same velocity and power as a 12 just a few less pellets... but its lighter and quicker handling

on 11/22/2020 i was trip to pixley CA, took my 20ga outand shot my first blue goose and plus 7 honker, shooting 20ga reload 1oz BBB, good to 50 yards 😂🤣

Great Video Guys! Question: I started out shooting a 20ga.side by side at age 6, upgraded to 2 3/4" 12ga, then to 3" 12ga, then 31/2" 12ga. However, now, at age 77, surviving Cancer, Heart Attack, Diabetes, a shoulder injury, a sabbatical from hunting anything, by the Grace of GOD and several good friends assistance, I have resumed duck hunting, now with a 20ga. We are making an out of state trip this year will be hunting an area with a reasonably good goose population. I have had good results on duck with Dry-Lock, Black Cloud & Hevi-Shot 20ga, 3'' #2 shot. I used to kill geese with the same shells in 12ga, 3" & 3.5" but have been wondering about geese with them in 20ga. I notice you did not appear to be having any problems dropping geese with the 20ga.. I would sure appreciate you sharing what shells you were using and would recommend. Now, please keep up the great work you are doing with the videos. In case no one has told you, us older and or laid-up hunters, really enjoy your videos, whereby, in many cases, we are able to relive our younger years through your videos, filmed real life, not professional productions. Thanks again! Keep the videos coming and keep HAVING FUN!!!

@@OutdoorLimits how are you liking the #2 pattern wise i found them to be a little sparse... i use #3s kent fast steel as my largest shot in the 20 im shooting a benelli m2 with a pattern master code black duck choke, iv also got some hevi shot 1 1/4 oz #4 with had great patterns right out to 40 yards but its expensive so i use it only on geese only and keep the steel on ducks. Might wanna consider using the kent bismuth for geese maybe the #3,4s to get more pellets in the pattern but it shout still have enuff weight to penetrate the hevi shot is by far the best but man 25$$ canadian for 10 shots is a little much...lol

All the years I’ve spent waterfowl hunting you guys are going to try and convince me that the 20ga is the right tool for the job? Seems to me that a few minutes going over the ballistics ,pellet counts exc would clear things up real quick- To each there own if you feel better with the 20 who am I to choose your weapon

I wish all public land hunts in Texas required 20 gauge. 12 gauge allows for sky blasting idiots to set up 50 yards apart, takes the art and fun right out of it.

I like the 16 guage the best, but 20 guage will knock them down especially up close pool shooting and then ring their necks, great shooting, your aim is on point

The problem with the 20 gauge is that sometimes it’s not an ethical kill unless their feet down in the decoys 20 yards away

I don’t understand why you would want to hadicap yourself with a 20 gauge?? Unless you have a ammo sponsor or your hunting flooded timber up close and personal there’s no good benefit, Ammos More expensive, and harder to find

The 20s great for hunting close over decoys i kill all kinds of ducks and some geese with the 20 how ever i will admit when shooting steel shot and targeting geese as my primary target i grab the benelli sbe 2 and some 3 1/2" kent # 2

When I started hunting I used a 20 gauge and folded tons of geese with it. In that video he winged it which that happens with any gauge.
