10FT TALL Overgrown YARD full of snakes! She broke down in TEARS! NOBODY would help!
I received a message from this Lady and I couldn’t get here soon enough. She shared that they have tried to contact everyone and just haven’t had any luck. She has been battling cancer and just doesn’t have the money, energy or time right now and the yard has gotten out of control.
I knew I had to take care of this family so I rushed over with my son Landon to surprise her and she was brought to Tears answering the door. She had no idea we were going to show up.
The grass was so tall you could barely see us on the mower, we also ran across some snakes buried in the deep grass in the backyard.

I agree, I'm 61 and have never ridden a ride on mower. GO YOU LANDON! All these skills your learning are for you for them rest of your life. You may one day pass them on to your children. GREAT JOB! Great Dad for teaching these skills! 😊❤

I noticed a couple of people saying they are 60 but never used a riding lawn mower. I just want to chime in and say, I'm 62 and have driven a riding lawn mower. For one whole summer after my dad had a stroke, I came home and mowed the family farmstead for 5.5 hours every Saturday, because I promised my dad I would, since he couldn't do it anymore. The following summer, he passed away. That was a good feeling to be able to help my dad. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! You and Landon did a wonderful job on this property!

It's so obvious that schools need to teach small engine repair again!!! Anyone with a little mechanical ability could have a great side-hustle fixing lawn mowers - since it seems so many are "broke". That was an enormous piece of property!! Thank you for checking for wildlife before you mowed as that tall grass was the perfect place to find bunny nests!!! Job well done and nice to hear that the lady is beating cancer.

I have a small (tiny compared to this one) garden in Scotland but there are lots of thorny plants. I got arm protectors and they are a complete game changer! No more thorns stuck into my skin or scratches all over, and they were so cheap too. Best buy ever! They supposedly cannot be cut by knives either, hopefully I’ll never need to test that claim lol.

The vast majority of that is below a line running across the state from Lakes Michigan and Huron, just north of Grand Rapids. Detroit and Grand Rapids (including the places around them account for 5.6 million. Add in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Bay City, Flint, and Lansing, adding in the other cities south of GR(Generally, you’re over 6Million. The upper peninsula accounts for 29% of the land area, but about 300,000 people. I live in south central Michigan in a small town, we’re 12 minutes from Battle Creek, all around me is open farm land.

Erik, I don’t know what kind of grass you have in your neck of the woods but I have to say it is beautiful and green and I live in south and our grass is brown cause we need rain so do get a good amount of rain and that’s why the lawns are so beautiful??? What a wonderful job you 2 did ! I cut my foster mom's grass for her, she had a very lazy son ! Come to find, I'm allergic to grass. She came outside and thought I was crying because my eyes were watering so bad that I couldn't see very well, but I got the job done ! I also helped her with bales of hay that her son was supposed to get, but didn't and painted the trim she wanted done. I know what it's like to have cance I'm survivor 2 years now.

being a cancer survivor times 2, and now with bone disease, plus no energy, get exhausted quickly, lol i can take me 2-3 days to mow what lawn i mowed, i went thru 6 mowers because people throw rocks out back, bought an $80 weed whacker which was used only 6 times by me and my grandson, when we went to use it again - NOTHING stopped working....but this is sooo awesome helping her out...bless her and your hearts

When he bent down to cut the two long branches in the tall weeds, I was thinking what a brave young man because after the first snake I know I couldn't do that! I remember the first time I got to mow with a gas mower (prior to that, all we had was a reel mower, non motorised, push pull mower), I was the top of the world getting to run a gas mower! WOW, I know your son has to be feeling that right now!
