Today is Part two of a day in the woods, in this episode I go to the scenic overlook intending to just mow a few little trails with the John Deere 333G and Diamond Forestry Mower.

With the modern day idea that Forrest fire are a “ no go “ we have let our timberlands strangle themselves with vines and small trees. Great to see someone take care of their timber lands....👍👍

My wife really laughed when she saw this post. She reminded me about how I got into brush & forestry clearing. I rented a machine to cleanup a right-of-way on our land. When she returned on the Sunday, I damn near clearcut a third of the property. I JUST COULDN'T HELP MYSELF! She says I clearcut it but in truth I "cleaned" it up....just like you've done. That was 5 years ago. Now I own 2 C.T.L. machines. One has a Diamond Rotary cutter/mulcher and the other a Denis Climaf drum mulcher & that thing is truly addictive. I came out of retirement to play with these machines 6 days a week now. I've no shortage of work/demand. 👍👍👍

Folks see these awesome videos like these with this machine & to them you're clearing the ENTIRE woods. When in reality, when you have the size place you guys have, you are hardly scratching the surface but they can't see that on a video. I have just under 60 acres & have been working nearly 2 years since I bought it to have a 4,500 access road nearly all the way around it. Lots of trees & brush cleared to make it happen but when you walk around my place you realize I've hardly touched it compared to all the trees that are there. The deer & wildlife are there as much as ever, they watch me work on a dozer & tractor all the time. I plan on keeping it that way & if I hadn't bought it a developer most likely would have as one was looking at it when it was up for sale but we acted quick when we found it. In that case it would've ALL been cleared instead of just a small access loop road. You can't get perspective from a KZfaq video & it's much different than the 1 or less acre lots than most folks live on where if they took down 3 trees they wouldn't have anymore. You're doing great work Morgan family.

Mike, the views of the different areas of your property we’ve seen while you’ve used the Johndeer has been so amazing! The setup you used to show your working from up higher and back aways was so unique. Thanks for the extra effort that had to take to give us a better understanding of what you were trying to accomplish. Again, I’m taken aback by the beauty of the Morgan’s world in your woods. It’s really a blessed place! Your hard work, your love of the area you’ve come to know throughout your life, your commitment to it and your principles make it a blessing you deserve. Thank you so much for sharing! Have a Day y’all.

Mike I have really enjoyed the series of videoes with the mulcher. I know you have enjoyed using it and been very productive but I want to say thanks for taking the time to set up all the camera positions and all the editing, it has shown us all a great insight of what the machine is capable of . I'm sure your sponsors Murphys must be delighted what you have achieved and the way you demonstrated the machines capabilities whilst filming. Melissa, I always chew on raw ginger when I have a cold it works a treat, try it.

You are a great example of managing a woodland effectively. Letting invasive and scrub growth take over a beautiful wood lot is not good forest management. Please keep up showing people how what you are doing is IMPROVING the woodland, not destroying it. My compliments on all your videos, I am deeply envious of your setup and congratulations on the success of your hard work!

I keep wanting to steer the machine when you are looking out the front. Like "no get that grape vine to the left, you are right there. " Of course some times I would be trying to press the nonexistent brake pedal when I am in the passenger seat too. That is a terrific machine. I have been clearing the edge of my paths with a Gravely brush cutter. This takes is to a whole different level.

What a great machine and you have perfect ground you use it. Very few rocks. I love to see Multiflora Rose get shredded up!! It will come up again from the roots but it's much easier to deal with when it's small. I spray it with Cimarron Plus which doesn't kill the grass. Great job.. what a great machine to help manage your wood lot!

Very happy to see you decided to run with your instincts and just clear that piece out. Looks great and gives room for other plants to come in. Had vines on a section of this property and were a bugger to get rid of. Also happy that you stopped when you did - looks like that machine is an addictive son-of-a-gun to run. Like the bunny - just keeps going & going. Will be a blessing to the eyes and mind later when carpeted with grass there. Great job again done by you. Keep these videos coming - waiting to see the results of this when done. Thanks from "The Evil Brat."

Melissa, My Grandmother's cold and flu remedy works great. Two fingers of your favorite flavored brandy in a coffee cup. Stick it in the microwave till it's hot and then just sniff the fumes and sip the brandy. My doctor says the alcohol fumes will condense on the soft tissue in your lungs and acts as a topical antiseptic that may or may not help, BUT... he also says sipping the brandy will make you sleepy and that will to help kick a cold.
