if you watch it back at some point and pay attention - you will see that when Kie starts to say "I'm sorry", while holding JJ up in the water and we assume she is letting him go, she is actually leaning her head back with him and surrendering. It shows she was willing to go down with him, rather than let him go :(

Ok I don't know why but Rafe having prime opportunity to shoot anyone of them or just shoot the boat and have them drown, but being unable to actually do it... idunno, I just love that moment. He's also my favorite character so that's probably why

Also its kinda easier to carry something super heavy when it's under water (due to buoyant force), and the cross was under water when he was carrying

My favorite character this episode: I don't know, maybe Sarah because she stayed strong against her dad? Character of all of season 2: JJ is always my favorite character, but Pope, and Sarah, and Rafe all had really great moments this season too, but I also really love the new edition of Limbrey. That actress is always amazing! Favorite scene of this episode: When the top lifts up and Pope yells about how they're not taking any crap any more. 😂 And when JJ and Kiara talk about the surf trip. 🥰 So glad you're a Jiara shipper now by the way. It's been confirmed by one of the show writers that they'll be exploring them more romantically next season, so that's exciting. ☺️

For this episode Character: Cleo or kie Scene: the surf trip scene with kie and JJ. I thought it was a good follow-up to her convo with pope in season 1 where he confesses his feelings and she talks about wanting something “different” and how she wants to “ride camels in South America” or something like that haha. It really helps show that her and JJ have similar dreams and wants in life. Also honorable mention to drew starkey and his acting.

Favorite character: Pope (I have a soft spot for him. I really hope the best for him because he is such a great guy and has a lot of potential to go far in life) Favorite character this season: Sarah (poor thing, shes been through a lot) Fav scene: Seeing the gang on the lifeboat all together. Edit: Also I love the fashion in this show and I will probably take inspiration when summer comes.
