I got this two weeks ago - it's a smooth drive and has some kick in Sport mode. That lighting is everything.

The "don't forget your key" thing is right when you get in. It's not a programming error. If you've unlocked the car and started it and then get out with the key and leave it somewhere, when you drive off the key is not in proximity anymore. It'll then sound a warning to say you've forgotten your key as well. So it says it to make sure you haven't left it behind before even leaving.

You're very knowledgeable and I like what you had to say about the car. However, were we suppose to know what the car looks like or you? We were basically shown the you the whole time. No around the car shots, interior, infotainment, back seat, etc.

That augmented reality type navigation is amazing.

I like your idea of testing a low options car to see how much value one gets for his money. I own an A250 4MATIC hatch with all season tires which is a good compromise between summer heat and snow in the winter in Germany. Compared to my other cars like Audi A8 and Porsche etc pp it does a really good job on the Autobahn at crusing speeds of around 125 mph. Regarding your review it lacks a real highlight which is the MBUX. Not only does it offer a kind of free comands to navigate and to adjust settings. E.g. I'm cold... which activates heating or seat heating etc. It also does system and navigation updates automatically via internet in the background. You did not mention the modified rear axle any 4MATIC car is featured with for free either. I strongly advise potential buyers to go for the 4MATIC. With almost 230bhp it is a little rocket and it struggles with grip on wet streets otherwise. Finally I cannot confirm any delay in the dual clutch. Response is immediate.

I had a c300 and rather than another, I got this in AMG trim. Coming from 7 SAABs, it’s much more fun to drive. I’m bummed by all the reviewers saying it’s for people dying for a Benz. I could have gotten a C300 for less!

Mercedes has been building front wheel drive cars since 1998 with the first A Class and B Class. It's just new for the US. Plus you guys don't even get a base engine which is a 1.3 turbo 4 with about 156hp. The A180d has a 1.5 turbo diesel with 106hp. And they're all more than adequate. They also have a new 8 speed DCT. Mercedes DCT is built for reliability whereas I know many have had issues with the VW one. Also, why with car journalist all about sporty this and that. I think those who want sporty will get a CLA35 or 45. Even in my 20s now I don't want sporty. Smooth and quiet does it. I don't think this car is meant for Americans.

Sorry to be mean but this guy doesn't show the car and rambles on and on, get to the point. Many car reviewer's don't give enough info and be specific. That's why most people watch so they can make a good decision. Mention the seat comfort for example, the ride, road noise, steering brakes, etc.
