Hence the reasons most forest trolls are bitter with the Horde. Doomhammer/Zul'Jiin is pretty much a Thrall/Vol'Jiin friendship that went wrong

@@atreyos9449 Because the orc campaign is the non-canon ending where Doomhammer manage to conquer Lodaeron and lead the Horde to continental dominance. In the actuall canonical ending (the Alliance campaign one) Doomhammer instead fails to take the city and retreat south, abandoning the trolls. Hence Zul'Jin got pissed off to him too.

Garithos should have hired Scarlet crusaders for Spellcasters, Zealous warriors and healers. Scarlet Inquisitor replacing Sorceress, Scarlet cleric replacing Elven Priest, Scarlet Justiciar(wields greatsword) replacing Spell breaker with spell resistance, Holy smite(with mana burn effect), and Divine armor(nerfed as 50% damage reduction).

I think it was more that he was bitter grudge against High Elves because Lordaeron Alliance didn't come to help them instead they're departed to help Quel'thalas leaving his town deffensles against Horde.

I agree. And let's not forget the undead whom also destroyed their home in WC3. Racial bias should prevent them from joining the Horde - but no, Blizzard had to add a "good looking race" to the Horde. ... There should have been a neutral faction/side for races that don't belong anywhere. Or like pandaren, have the player choose.

​@@OutsiderXE Elves are conceited and manipulative by nature, they choose to take the side which gives them more benefit. When the Second War came they only acted when it was of their interest and in the Third War they stood by and did nothing while Lordaeron fell and the Scourge arrived at their gates. Then when the time came to search for allies, they refused to return to the Alliance out of some misplaced arrogance and choose the Horde out of necessity. After that, despite Thrall and his Horde proving to be good allies, Lorthemar himself considered abandoning them to return to the Alliance when Garrosh went on his mad rampage across Pandaria as the new Warchief, disloyalty is in their blood. So to answer the reason why they allied with the Horde, it's simply because circunstances forced them to and pride wouldn't allow them any other option, the current Horde is far different from what the Horde was at that time. This is a recurring trait between all elven related races (night elves, naga, highborne, blood elves). Every tragedy that happened to themselves was orchestrated unintentionally by themselves (The Sundering, Fall of Quelthalas, Suramar Isolationism, Azshara Exile, etc).

Anyway it was a bad move lorewise. And cut the development of other factions.

Long story short (from "Rise of the Horde" book): he was tricked by Kil'Jaeden and because of him orcs became "evil" and killed most Dranei and ruined Draenor with demonic magic. When Ner'zhul realized it was not will of orcish ancestors but the demon he got depressed and didn't want to join the invansion on Azeroth. When Doomhammer will be defeated orcs will ask Ner'zhul to take a lead (Beyond the Dark Portal story). Ner'zhul will lead the Horde with a plan to open more portals to other worlds to find new home for orcs. He will also lose a war against Alliance and he will be catched by Kil'Jaeden in a portal. Demon will punish Ner'zhul for his failure and imprison him in the ice throne. Ner'zhul will became a Lich King with same task as Horde had -> bring Burning Legion to Azeroth and this time Ner'zhul/Lich King will follow that order (in Warcraft 3 story).

Zul'jin knew that Gul'dan didn't speak for the entire Horde and that he was betraying the Horde as well as the Forest Trolls.

I mean in BC the Horde accepting Bloodelves was a perfectly reasonable motivation to turn on them.

@@bobdole7451 I dumno. Maybe in the grand scheme of things beyond any shred of mortal comprehension, the Elements considered this to be lesser of evils. Besides elves were always not-so-humble jerks with superiority complex towards anyone but them, so in the end the Elements probably believed they deserved their home getting destroyed... twice. First from the cleansing fire of the Horde, second from the cleansing plague of the Scourge years later after they left the Alliance of Lordaeron, because they blamed the Alliance for letting the Horde rampaging in their forest.

@@maksymilianziele28 I mean it's possible. But the scourge and the horde both did serious harm to the environment around them, the scourge actively trying to end all life and summon the Legion.. Seems like the elements would be more keen on the elves, they may me pompous but at least they weren't actively destroying the planet

Gul'dan offering her soul to Zul'jin... who then sends it to his Loa of Death, Bwonsamdi with whatever he had thrown at her, which plagued the ground around her. The way I imagine her fate in the hands of Troll Kepper of Souls... and I thought her daughters suffered terribly. Despite his appearance, Gul'dan is truly the master of making new friends... only to stab them behind their back with pure joy. A real Palpatine (from Star Wars) of Warcraft.

Actually, if horde wins in this campaign, there will be no scourge, because Ner'Zhul didn't became the Lich King.

If you mean the vision about the Tomb of Sargeras, he had that at the very start of the campaign in a cinematic I believe. Gul'dan was probing Medivh's mind when the latter was killed by Khadgar and Lothar during the raid on Karazhan. It caused Gul'dan to fall into a coma due to the mental link being severed so abrubtly. Then by the time he awoke, Blackhand and many of the Shadow Council were dead, and Doomhammer became Warchief after sacking Stormwind.

Yeah, the Horde did heavy damage to the forests of Quel'Thalas and killed large numbers of High Elves which they blamed the Humans for as they got outsmarted by the Horde in the Hinterlands which led the High Elves to leave the Alliance in canon.

If you really need to stretch the imagination, food isn't the problem. It rains in that part of the continent a lot, so yeah it's contrived but if anyone could do it, it would be a Shaman.

well it seems to be a recreation of the og campaign that interpretes the source material very freely and alters it quite a bit both to fit into WoW's heap of retcons of a lore(Rend and Maim were not even mentioned in WC2) and be appealing to the player(Utok and CAPTAIN THARBEK are the examples) to be fair, Gul'dan did at the very least tamper with the Elven Runestones quite a bit and the Elves couldn't or wouldn't use them against the Scourge so yeah it's odd that Death Knights and Ogre Magi got switched places up in lore, with DKs being present in Hillsbrad already

I guess SD would have diminished the cinematic feel that comes with the detailed models. I was against HD for a very long time, but for single-player/story content its great.

Thrall's "Horde" is nothing but a freakshow circus after WoW Warlocks. Yes, warlocks are not banned. Wow, Blizzard, way to go. Undead? Blood Elves? Gob-okay goblins are fine- Pan-what? what do you mean they got fennec furries on board what is it doing in the court oh draaaagons right

Yes, the old horde destroyed a lot in Que'Thalas and the inclusion is nonsensical. Blood elves and undead should not be with the horde. The horde is not a haven for lost races.
