I like how this map is the same as chapter 2 of the Terror of the tides campaign from Warcraft 3 but set in the past, they even added Drak'thul and show us how he still alive when Maiev meet him many years later.

Iirc, the Cult was already a thing at this point. Cho’Gall himself was introduced to it by and inducted into their ranks the pale orcs on Draenor and they founded the Twilight Hammer clan as a front for their cult. They joined the Horde because they think they could use the Horde to summon the Old Gods.

Thr devs went back to the classic origin Blizzard clearly intended for Cho'gal's X-scar before Blizzard got SUPER lazy in WoD and just reused his already scarred and mutated Cata model.

@neobahumuth6 He actually already had an earlier set of armor plates added in the war of the ancients novels. His body was already splitting apart from the overflowing power even then.

@@mycastephens4987 Alliance campaign of ToD would be canon one (shocking, games back then had separate endings, and some of them would be considered non-canon later).

@@mycastephens4987Lordaeron has fallen, but the throne room wasn't breached as Utok said at the end of the campaign, as for the Alliance forces, Lothar, Turalyon and Khadgar weren't at the siege of Capital City. Maybe the Alliance campaign will pick up from there, with them liberating the city.

Grom, Kargath, Tager Spinebreaker and Ner'zhul missing or do we get to see and fight them on the Alliance campaign? Also Fenris (Thrall's Uncle) was with Tager at the Tomb of Sargeras in order to get a staff for Gorefiend?

I had the same issue. Apparently havee to update I guess. But updating deleted all my saves. so I went back. I have no idea why he is not there.

It was bugged for me. I didnt even start the game with Rend in my party nor did he show up in the final fight. anyone else find the useless "Bonecrusher" item in the lower southwest isles ? It appears as a placeholder item in my playthrough. Everything else seemed fine.

Me too, i've started the level without Rend (despite that he appears in the prologue), and now i can't beat cho'gall. I've tried many times, damage is not enought to kill him before he launches that huge magic circle that kills you anymore. Did you fix the bug or did you beat him at finally?
