I used to catch shrimp on the flats in central west Florida. Walked in calf deep water with a head lamp just after dark. Used a homemade trap with a door on a pole. Pulled a 5 gal bucket with a pool noodle secured to keep it upright. Cut slices into the lid and bend them down. Also drill holes in the bucket. Just put the trap on the bucket top and open the door. Would fill a 5 gallon bucket 1/2way in 3 hours. Can’t compare to to you but this hunt is so calm & soothing. Wild caught shrimp are the sweetest you’ll ever eat. Love your videos.

Yea you should leave some for the rest of us that aren't anywhere in sight. Only catch a fraction of what you can to help the troll's out here. What a way of thinking. Your out here catching and cooking shrimp 🍤 and teaching people what has most likely took years to aquire. Your helping people but you some it just ain't enough. It is here and to most. Great video 📸 and tips. You guy are great 👍

Der it is 🎉. Hey Jared,I'm impressed with you throwing the 4'. It's good to change up and get the rust of🌞. Here all I can find is shrimp from Indonesia 😝. If you Pick through them they are OK. You can't dump them cause they have bad ones in the bag🥴! When I was blessed with 1 bag of Louisiana Shrimp I saw the difference! Then I was given another bag Whoo Hoo,I am set! Not a bad pile of Swimps. enjoy🎉 JO JO IN VT 💞

My mom used to send me and my brother out to Little inlets in Brunswick Georgia to go catch dinner one night we might have mullet one night we might have brim one night we might have shrimp or sometime a combination of all. We didn’t have a lot of money, but we ate good.

I was bank fishing that area last winter and couldn’t catch a thing. Good thing I always carry my cast net with me everywhere. Saw the water flowing and on the first throw I caught a handful of shrimp. I caught more than enough shrimp to have a boil from that same spot.

Need something like a hoop net that will slip over the OD of the road culvert and then tie it down to a sock like a shrimp boat net. Could catch all kinds of stuff .

If we got caught doing that in Alabama we would be in big trouble. Catching bait shrimp inshore where they breed is against the law, you are lucky.
