I chose these Cerwin Vega speakers to power the audio as they are cheapish and won't need an additional amp to sound good/loud.

Nice, thanks for posting! Going to be replacing mine as well. What's the digital gauge on dash to the right of driver?

Cerwin vega ok but what size for front and what size for rear mate ?

6.5" for both. They actually sound nice for the price. Can't complain, and added a 10" sub under the seat :)

So did you end up just unplugging the factory front tweeters ?

Mine didn't have the dash tweeters
