@BRichSolution I just seen the Ouxi Q8 I believe it has the same specs (but larger battery) as this V8 but is step through with a integrated battery and full suspension for under 1k, have you had a chance to ride that one?

The issue with Q8 is price is high. For less $1100 you can buy Ouxi v8 and add and extra battery and still cost less than Q8. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pLJ-p6lhzrjeqp8.html Q8 benefit is step thru frame but with extra weight the slight larger battery range will be negligible to v8

The yolin ebike is better bike as it’s aluminum frame, dual batteries, color screen, hydraulic brakes, full suspension but it cost at least $500 more then Ouxi. The yolin will take 2-3 months for delivery whereas the Ouxi v8 can be delivered in 3-7 days

Yes, it has pedal assistance and transfers very well from pedal assistance to throttle only.

Not with stock controller only gets you to 48-49 km/h as its limited to 22 amps. Replacing controller with 25Amp model should get you to 54-55 km/h

out of the box the Ouxi was only able to 20mph (32 km/h) but I was able to tune it to 22 Amps output and get it to go 30 mph (48 km/h). You might be able to go faster if you swap to higher controller output (25A or 30A) but then your range will be shorter. link to upgraded controller s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DB07idN

Tires are not set up for puncture resistant but I did add puncture resistant slime. Battery life is 27 miles with no pedaling

Most ebikes its hard to go above 60 km/h with 48V and hub motor. To go 60+ you need to have at least 52V and mid-drive motor or 60V and 1500w motor. Those bikes will cost you over $2500

31-32 mph top speed. Its a good bike for the money considering the cost includes shipping, taxes and import duties. Delivery is 3-7 days in most places
