My best ever count at Conowingo Dam was May 7, 2023 with 507 Bald Eagles. In the two weeks before that date I had 379 and 439 on two separate days.

Amazing video... Basic survival for Eagles is such a teaching tool. I'm in awe at the number of Eagles in one spot. Have you ever seen that many before? Love eagles and love your work! Thank you! 🦅❣️

A point of clarification. The fish are not coming through the dam, they are being stirred up in the water below the dam from where they are living when the generators are turned on. This is popular misconception about the fish coming through the dam and being stunned. Studies have been done to prove this. AND yes the spring when the Shad are running can be as impressive as the fall. This spring my highest Bald Eagle count was on May 7th when I counted 507, my all time record high at the dam.

Love ur videos great being but there to short. Would love ur videos to be at least 15mins or so. 2mins is way to fast for such beautiful images u give us.

Great video. I’m going there. It’s interesting since eagles are scavengers, that they appear to be enjoying the hunt. Taunting each other. Some are families flying together.
