Look into Avid boats. There a new aluminum boat company in my hometown. The guy used to own nautic star boats. Sold it then started Avid boats right behind the Nautic Star Building. There actually really nice looking tin boats. Not sure how the pricing is though. Think it would be cool though because there a new company just now starting out.

My g3 dealer doesn’t do the 1910. Says it’s so high you can buy a better boat for the same price range. I appreciate the honesty!

I see a trend with boat makers and dealerships. These packages aka scames. You end up over double the price of the boat. I understand i have to pay labor ok cool but when the dealership charges me 2900 for a 1700 dollar piwerpole and then charges me 400 to put it on thats crap. Same goes for charging me 3500 for a graph that costs 1200 then charging me 2 hrs labor to put it in. In this economy you have to buy a stock boat then buy all your own stuff and go to youtube university to learn how to put it in. I was wondering why all the bass pros started doing that years ago. You should make a series on adding all the things you build these series with into a boat .......PLEASE. these dealerships and boat makers need to figure out that this is whats going to crash the boat market when you take advantage of the people the people show you why you shouldnt

Just deck out an 18 foot Lowe roughneck yourself. I imagine if u did it right...put your own console in . Deck and wire everything center rod locker...Basically three compart all front deck it would take a month of weekends to build and still probably cost 45k with a 75horse ..best trolling motor and decent bow elelctronics

I've been looking at aluminum boats and I've found that you save alot of money if you just get the boat motor and trailer and buy everything else yourself and put it in yourself

I had a g3 bay 18 with a 115 sho. They put Bear Trailers under them. My trailer fell apart in the first 6 months and it took them 2 years to replace it with a tandem trailer. The dealer told me that the trailer was too small for the boat, “so it wasn’t the trailer’s fault” that it fell apart. I bought it for 33k and sold it for the same, with additional power poles and a Garmin force. The boat was ok. I like my Allison more.

It's hard to judge these boat over unders because they always sell with rebates and discounts. So not really accurate.

There's a super super old G3 in one of my local lakes that has an old Evinrude or Johnson that had its horsepower rebadged to 69hp. I think that's the only one I've ever seen

Down here in Acadia Parish tin boats have been king for a very long time. Not that glass boats aren’t great, there’s just an abundance of really shallow water and stumps that’ll fuck your glass boat up quick, fast and in a mother fucking hurry. Outboards is Yamaha (I’m guessing about half) and about 25% of outboards is mud motors (pro drive, gator tail and mud buddy, all made down here) I’ve honestly never seen a g3 which is kinda crazy with the amount of yammy outboards here.

My 2023 RT198p with lithium TM battery upgrade, ghost, 2 Lowrance FS9 bow n console, 4” Atlas, dual blinker switch, hot foot, boat cover and tandem axle trailer upgrade altogether OTD was $56k. WTF is this lol

My Vexus AVX1980 cost just about 62k and came with way more options than this. G3 is out of their minds.
