And no the bullet was not fired from the grassy knoll . The third shot was accidentally fired when the motor cade accelerated just after the second shot was fired. The third shot was fired from the 1963 Ford station wagon following the Kennedy car. Accidentally fired yes . The Warren commission investigating the shooting never looked into the details of the shooting. Hoover told the commission what to write into the report. Hoover told the commission that he Hoover had already made the conclusion that Oswald was a lone shooter. Gerald Ford revealed this year's later after Hoover had passed away and after Ford had been president. The real story here is the official versions of what really happened has never been told. And yes there were three empty shell casings at the window. The firearm probably had an empty casing in the chamber before the first shot was fired.
