So many things I LOVE about this video, but not least is you getting ready while talking to us feels like I'm zooming with a friend. So glad you feel that comfortable--something to aspire to.

You are soooooo not alone. I've met big time authors who feel this all the time, even after traditionally publishing 15 books. It's a brain twister.

You are one of the few youtubers who actually gives helpful insight and advice on what to do. I know it's because you have it yourself and you talk about your experiences with it, but you bring alot of comfort and understanding to it when someone like me, had none. You're not just trying to sell your course. You are actually very helpful and I'm glad I found your channel. Episodes like this are very comforting, so thank you.

Something that helped me was having other Interests outside work. Not putting all my eggs in one basket. Because I think we all put so much emphasis of our self worth in our job. When really we need to spread it across multiple interests hobbies as well as jobs. This helps the emotional regulation by dividing into different aspects of your life.

This was absolutely perfect... AND I even learned how to makeup 😂😉👌! I was really depicted here, and the advices given were spot on! (I'm not a native English speaking person) Where I learned about Imposter Syndrome was not with ChatGPT but with my preferred (the best), Bard. It made do much sense and, at certain point, Bard "noticed" I fitted the overachiever profile. And I was like: "But (what's with that compliment man?!) how can I be if I... don't achieve anything?!" LOL And Bard explained this... that perfectly fits in my character. That RSD flare-ups are interesting, and I think we should dive deep in the nature of that - as perfectly suggested - but before we ask the questions to the boss, because questions coming from a flare-up, coming from lack of confidence, might sound... silly... stupid... as if we are on another planet... as if we didn't even get what has to be done... because we are on another planet, the Overachiever Planet ✨ I think I might have shown that too much on my last job since the bully-narcissist boss even took time to explain me how do we properly open a PDF by hitting space... instead of double-clicking the file, like I was doing. Nothing wrong with that. Just psycho-bullying... Learning coding was a good example that I already heard that it might be a good job for an ADHDer. And I get it. So... you might thing that Graphic Design might not be a good one? I remember, at school, filling pages of logos' drafts (without deciding which one to pick). A "teacher" even approached me with a "Wooo... So many! Just pick one". Did I pick one? No. I even think that project lead me to give up, that year. The story of my life... And now I'm trying to get away from that bully boss... and return to Graphic Design, the degree I have... but never had a job of GD. Oh... I'm just 45... 🤔🔫

Diagnosed with ADHD last year at age 56. I’ve worked through trauma, depression, anxiety, and still trying to build my self confidence and staying regulated in stressful situations. My therapist just started me on using the heart math breathing with the equipment to help me get in coherence. After using for a week, I have noticed a difference! Continuing to use daily and loving the results. I watch all your YT videos and love sharing with my therapist the many things I have learned and tried. Thank you for all your support!

Do you have a video like this for people who are burned out entrepreneurs needing to figure out whats next? Even if i feel confidence that i have "something to offer", i am so overwhelmed by imposter syndrome and RSD that i struggle to home in on the thing i could do next and then anxious to put myself out there. This video was super helpful in the overall insights, but something specific would be amazing ❤

So funny you’re using clips from the office because i was thinking about the episode where Jim was asked for a breakdown of his clients by Charles and Jim had no idea what that meant😂 He should have asked for an example or clarification right away not hours later.

Interesting. Can you use a transcription app to transcribe the audio into words? Also taking notes with a pen is kinethetic, so that might help too. Get to know what your best learning style is and lean into it.

I'm confused...if 82% of people have imposter syndrome, then it seems mathematically impossible for "most" people with imposter syndrome to be high achieving?

Why is every video about adhd focuses on people who work in IT of in an office or work from home. Every single one .... What about people such as blue collar workers who arent sat in a cubicle or in an office which you constantly seem to think that everyone with adhd does!! This really pisses me off and makes mefeel even more invisible !! Not every job is coding or presenting , ive lost count of how many times you say coding !! You seem to pidgeon hole everyone with adhd thats connected with social media or IT or coding and are in the demographic of 25-35 age bracket . Why are you doing this, as you are targetting a specific arena of people that are on line based and helps your algorithm feeds on you tube. Maybe i should target thise people who dont work in Coding social media or presenting which you constantly target. The more i watched your videos the more i started to see this. There are millions of us in our 50s & 60's who dont work in an office but have lived with undiagnosed adhd add for decades who dont have a boss to go to as you keep saying and making assumptions everyone has an employer !! Alot of us are retired or self employed . You base everything on the fact people seem to have this boss you can walk into thier officeand asking for feedback. Its seems yiu are only interested in those who are in corporate or in an office environment. Thats box ticking . You arent really speaking to those of us whi have adhd , just those who have it who work in an office
