Gloria’s father passed away in 2010. Following that tragedy, she had a lot of life struggles. Her mother did her best to provide for her and her siblings, but she struggled to pay school fees and feed her family. Gloria ended up attending FCW’s flagship ministry, Kipindi Mpito, and gained valuable skills that enabled her to become a
professional seamstress. She now works for Arise
Kollections, a high quality, hand crafted leather fashion brand in Uganda. In 2023, her brother passed away and left behind two children. Her employment and the
valuable life skills she gained at Kipindi, have enabled
her to financially support her brother’s kids. Gloria's story is an inspiration as well as an example of the ultimate goal for FCW's programs: a life of self-sufficiency and true meaning.
