Anxiety is the worst feeling I have ever felt in my life... It's a thorn in my flesh ...

58 yrs old. I have been suffering from Anxiety since my teen years. Anxiety has caused me to miss out on a lot of life. I have been seeking Gods words for comfort but I am now listening and accepting Gods help. I can't cope with this disabling condition any longer. Skips sermon was excellent and it he helps me put my responsibilities in an order for me to follow. The how to seek Gods help through Prayer, Supplication and Thanksgiving is very helpful in my redirecting my anxiety into worship. Thank you Skip and Calvary.

While growing up I witnessed my mom's anxiety and panic attacks. One of my three siblings and I suffer from this too. It's a huge struggle and by God's grace we walk with God daily. Never the less it's a struggle. My adult kids struggle with it too. Please keep us in your prayers. I will be going through knee surgery soon and have many other health issues. Anxiety is a true curse that has stolen so much of my life. So much of it can be traced back to my neurodivergence, and let’s just say that if it wasn’t for God I would have “lost it.” NowI remember that God made me this way as a blessing not a curse, and I can touch so many people with my “voice”!

My mother in law is passing away this week and I'm having a really hard time. I don't know what to say to be helpful and this anxiety making me the opposite of that. Thank you for this. As a newer Christian, guys like Skip and Mike Winger have been invaluable people to me. So much so I found a Calvary church in my neighborhood to bring my kids to. I hope my husband will come aroumd too, but with his mother dying, I'm scared to say the wrong thing and push him away. His mom is very treasured by his family, with good reason. I'm rambling, just wanted to say thank you.

I sit here worried about a quarrel that has divided ny family. This will divide all of us for Thanksgiving day and not knowing if it will be resolved before that day is driving me crazy. 1 Peter 5:7 Cast your anxieties on Him for He cares for you. It has given me comfort knowing my worries, stresses, anything which gives me stress- give it to Jesus. The Spirit gives us comfort and the Lord gives us strength.

Omg this is what I needed to hear...I recently parted ways with a woman I was going to marry due to us not being healthy, our trauma and past experiences entered our relationship and therefore we we're in an impossible relationship. I haven't slept or ate in almost 2 days after this I will rest and stop being a man with two minds. Please pray for my son who has cerebral palsy and now is diagnosed with rectal cancer . When he was born the doctor told me that he was only going to be around for 48 hours but God had a different plan because he turned 35 last year. Now again there’s nothing they can do for him because chemo and radiation are just not an option for him. We’ve decided to do immuno therapy and I give glory to God for leading us to New Hope Unlimited who offered unconventional treatment.
