In this episode, we're in North Carolina! A slight change of plans due to weather led us to seek a dry camping spot in the Uhwarrie National Forest, which also gave us time to take on Dickey Bell Jeep Badge of Honor Trail. More on that in a separate episode. In this one, we set up our Patriot Campers X1-H in the Badin Campground next to Lake Badin. After dinner and some family time in the humid summer heat, we kicked the fan on high for a good night's sleep.
The nice thing about camping in Uhwarrie National Forest, is that we were near friends that decided to join us on a day of wheeling the offroad trails of the Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex, the only public OHV trail system in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. Our off road adventure was too big for just one episode, so look much more in our next episode of the series.
