Overlooked Scenic Drive That You MUST SEE | Bow Valley Parkway Banff 【4K】

The Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada provides visitors with a scenic and relaxing alternate route between Banff and Lake Louise.
This 48km (30 mile) paved road has interesting roadside pull offs with information on the wildlife and history of the area along with amazing views of the forests, meadows and mountains.
The Parkway was the original road linking Banff and Lake Louise in the early 1990s and is a great way to explore the beauty of Canadas first national park.
Today we will begin our journey near Lake Louise and travel east until we finish only a few kilometers from the townsite of Banff.

I always make a point to get off the main highway when in the area and take this scenic parkway between Banff and Lake Louise. I hope if any of you visit that you will do the same. Absolutely scenic. It is a beautiful place to explore Wade. We also had German and Italian intern Camps during the second world war. Amazing Castle Cliffs. Those waterfalls would be wonderful to see in movement. Looks like there is nothing left of Silver City. The waterfalls in Johnston Canyon are amazing. The wild flowers would be wonderful to see. Great drive Wade! Really enjoyed hearing about each of the stops and what hikes are available! We visited Banff and Lake Louise a few years ago, and there were so many people there it was hard to find parking... we’d love to do this drive as an alternative, and I’d love to go when the wildflowers are blooming! Thanks for sharing the history too... I wasn’t aware that Canada had internment camps during WW 1, I’m glad to learn about it .... thanks for the great video!!

there is nothing to see on the Bow Valley. Do not go there. Actually there is nothing to see in Banff. Certainly do not take highway 93 to Jasper. Again nothing to see. As far as Jasper goes, you guessed it… nothing to see. Don’t bother going. You should really visit Saskatchewan. The province not the glacier. Do not be fooled, avoid Alberta’s National Parks at all cost.. on a serious note very well done video, nice work. 👍. One thing videographers seem to forget to mention is. Don’t friggen speed. If you don’t have time to obey the speed limits in the parks, you don’t deserve to be in them.
