Just imagined that Overlord never was an anime, and instead was an arcade Adventure RPG game back in the 80s, having you to pick up 2 characters, either Brain or Zaryusu, both of having different gameplay and cinematics when starting and finishing the game, aswell as recolecting information and items, for example Brain getting Gazef's sword after he dies, or Zaryusu joining Ainz when finishing the game.
