Join me for a quick overnight on the Ohio to Erie Towpath Trail in Akron, Ohio. I did a quick bikepacking gear shakedown on my newly-built Surly Bridge Club and had a fantastic time. Both the bike and the gear worked great, and I think I am very close to being ready for a much longer trip this summer.
I will do a complete, detailed breakdown of my bike and gear soon.

Thanks. Yeah, 3D printing is great but time-consuming and somewhat frustrating. I have more gear I'm going to create soon.

@OutLan I have had a blast with mine printed dozens if not a hundred spools. I got a extensive machining background so I guess that helps.

@@jacobpoucher I have definitely learned a lot about material and design for printing. It helps having access to tools like Autodesk 360 through educational license.

@OutLan yeah the $70 or whatever a month does sting,.i guess.but I got a plasma table too that I use it with so it pays for itself annually anyway.

Can you put your bike on the train there? We live 5 minutes from Eastwood lake and for a quick bike packing trip we get the campsite there by the bike path and get a pizza from Joe’s

Yes! That is an option to ride the CVNP Scenic Railway back. I would like to do that sometime.
