It's proven that you can sense when someone is there even though you can't see it! that's why we flip around and look behind us when no one is there. imagine being in a wheel chair with a beanie over your head and a alarm goes off when it shouldn't. then you hear that either a ghost is near and haunting you or someone broke in and is trying to kill you.

it’s crazy seeing this knowing that I’ve actually toured the asylum and my great grandmother used to work there while training to be a nurse. The stories in this place are so insane.

I love how Elton is thrilled by the whole place, while poor Evan is just "Alright, I gotta deal with what he does to me...I'm the caboose."

I love the way Corey reacts to everything. On minute he could be freaking out the next minute he's holding hands with Elton.

I can't with Elton, him blindfolded and talking while everyone is panicking. HAHA.

The fact that Lilly was trying to draw their attention to the window Elton was at, surprised me.

I love how corey is 100x more confident with scary investigations. I like that this group doesn’t run away when a sound happens or when they have a spirit interact with them, they all go towards it and find out what it is. I love this group doing investigations together, & i’m glad that corey is enjoying them more because he knows he’s more attuned to spirits & stuff than the average person!

As someone who lives right beside the asylum, that alarm goes off all the time around night. The siren also goes off at 10pm for a curfew siren. Sunday around 12:30pm, a countywide siren and pager test of all sirens is held.

If the guide’s shin scratches are paranormal then it could be from a patient running their ghost wheelchair into his shins. My dad worked with mental health patients for a long time and he would say sometimes they would purposely run their chairs into the nurses legs to hurt them.

Anyone notice the sound of someone walking around Lily’s room while everyone was being still?

The “alarm” to me sounds like an old WWII air raid siren that may have been sounded when there was an escaped patient. If it’s a hand crank it wouldn’t require electricity. Would be super easy for anyone (hopefully not the tour guide) who knew how to access it to sound it and ensure at least one “strange” experience for visitors. There’s no doubt in MY mind it was a real siren, I just hope it was coincidental and not intentionally done to maintain a spooky reputation for the attraction.

31:40 there are some whispers that say something but I can’t exactly make out what is being said. Then at the same time stamp after Elton sits in the chair there is more but it’s sounds more like a whistle than a whisper. 48:00 just before Corbin and Corey freak out about a girls voice if you put ur volume loud enough it’s there very faintly a girls voice says something like “hey” or “hi” but I can’t be sure of what is being said.18:00 the second time Evan pans the camera around on the right side of the glass there is definitely a white face that seems to just appear (in my opinion there are like two or three other faces around that one but it could just be the window) at this same time if you follow the flashlight to the left side of the window you can see a shadow figure ducking out of view but the light shines on it for a moment(this ones a little harder to catch).42:54-43:05 in this time frame there is an exhale and I’ve watch it many times over there is NO WAY it could’ve been Elton and he even seems to react to the exhale but it also could just be that he was looking around thinking which direction he should go.34:00 there is a very faint voice of a woman saying “hello” or maybe “no” kinda even sounds a little like “help” but like I’ve said on all the other ones it’s hard to be 100% positive about what is being said. Also something I saw someone else comment that I thought was kinda creepy was that at 30:00 Corey said there was a spot he got touched at this spot he said was also the spot the EMF or K2 (I forget what the thing is called) was beeping on in one of their previous videos, the Execution Rock videos. The last one wasn’t mine but I didn’t write down the username of the person so I can’t give credits I’m so sorry 😖

I live here!!! that place during Halloween is amazing its so fun. they dont let you go the places they went though, your sectioned off to certain spots and no downstairs or certain places on the first place they arent very good at the scaring part though the building in itself is scarier. im from Doddridge county West Virginia so i'm actually only about a hour away from here and i find it very cool i get to see my state being on a channel that is very successful doing something that means so much to me i love it! thank you TFIL for the great experiences on your channel.

In December , when the contest was going on I posted a buncha comments ab the most haunted places in west virginia, naming the Lunatic Asylum as the most haunted. I do not know if he took my suggestion, but I hope you enjoyed it! We take great pride in our haunting history

Seen a few of your episodes before but only just subscribed today. I know this was from way back to COVID-19 days but this was Ok to watch. Now on to part 2 then. Let's hope that has more scary bits in. The alarm going off was or sounded like a 1940s war siren/alarm and the tour guide said there was no fire alarms connected in the place and people had said they had heard fire alarms going off. So that was a strange thing to hear. Ok, on to part 2 as I said.

Love this new series - I have a small request, if possible; I watch with captions because I’m hard-of-hearing (@24, I know, crazy) -with that being said, it would be so awesome if you could move the captions that you guys edit in maybe to the middle or top of the videos so I can read both clearly, this really is only a huge bummer when you are using the spirit box and I can’t quite see what you interpret from it through the KZfaq captions. :( I’ll manage tho if it doesn’t seem to be a large deal amongst other viewers!

To be very honest the guide who did the tour in this video set the bar SOOO high, the best one i think I've seen so far.
