Lovely vlog mama and congrats on 2K!!! We do sleep also, I’m a very light sleeper and I feel there is no safer place than for my babies to be right next to me 🤷♀️ I love it. Little man is getting so big and handsome 🙂 my first was exactly how you describe him, she always had trouble sleeping. And I was a new mom so I thought it had to be something I was doing. Turns out, nope, she’s just not a great sleeper, but neither am I so it makes sense 🙂 thankfully the new one is MUCH EASIER! Thanks for relating!

Yes I feel the same way about co sleeping. Isint it crazy how different each baby can be!? My first two slept so good I had to wake them up to feed them but my last two have def been harder to get to sleep.

I am having my 2nd baby in 4 weeks and I loved watching this video. It helps to mentally prepare for all the tings that felt so overwhelming with my firstborn. Knowing that so much that we went through is normal helps me be so much much more relaxed this time. 🌷Love your videos!

I really enjoy your videos..so many of these types of vlogs seems to me too good to be true..whereas u truly show how it is with a newborn and toddlers, no sugarcoating I respect that..u made mention to something I struggle with immensely..thinking about u don't know what ur doing wrong because u have a hard time understanding what u aren't doing and why u cant stop little man's crying and u said it's imperative to have a support group..I'm in a bad place right now because I'm having a tough time with everything now and I don't have any type of support group..I moved to NC from NY 5 years ago and instantly met a guy 12 years younger than me and I pretty much got pregnant 2 weeks after us meeting..so pretty much all I know here is him and his family...o already have a 22 year old in college and now I have a 4 and a 3 year old at 40..their dad I'm guessing snapped and started his physical and mental abuse it was horrible and I couldn't leave because like a moron I stopped working which caused me no way to be able to go...I finally did and went to a domestic violence shelter and I literally lost everything..I cant work because I'm unable to find anyone to watch them...I just desperately want to leave the shelter but I can't because I don't have money for a deposit...why does this happen to me?? I'm not crazy I'm just lonely and I hope me telling u this doesn't lead to u thinking I'm a psychopath...I jinx don't know what to do dix all this..I'm at my breaking point and idk how to not broke this..I need help desperately. .of u have any advice please tell me because I have nothing and its not fair for my babies to be in a shelter...please help me with some advice

Oh how exciting!! Congrats mama! 😂 yes I try to get sleep in when I can so right now it’s just spurts of 2 to 4 hrs. Hopefully in the next month I will finally get a 6 to 8hr night of sleep in 🤞🏼

I love watching your videos! I’m a new mom. Girl mom. 🤘🏼 I watch your videos when I’m up at night pumping/feeding my baby. And I eat those cookies too! They are delicious. Your videos have helped me out a lot on advice and just to know a lot of things I’m going through are normal. Being a mom is so amazing and exhausting all at the same time lol I wouldn’t trade it for the world.💗

Wow congrats y’all!! When hubby and I got together we used to say we wanted 6 kids but now that we have 4 and I’m 34 we are done. I just love big families!!

How are you just starting you night at 12:30am ?!?! I start going to bed no later then 10 and even then I regret going to bed that late. I really appreciate you showing him fighting this sleep cuz that’s my boy too. Since 6 weeks and he’s 7 weeks now he has really struggled with fighting sleep. Sometimes takes 1 hr to lull him to sleep

Your video helps me. Our 6 week old still fights sleep. As soon as she knows she’s tried she’s upset. 😏 she only sleeps on us and we take turns staying up with her. I’m too scared to co sleep (I’m so sleep deprived that I am not light sleeping when I pass out) , but I know she would sleep if we did it. She wakes up the second we put her in her crib 😏

At how many months do you stop swaddling a baby?

It just depends on the baby. Mine usually hates it after about 1 to 2 months old but I’ve had friends that swaddle their babies till they were 3 months old. The sleep sacks are great to transition from the swaddle too

He is beautiful 😍 why don't you put him his crib when he is asleep as may stay settled for longer and that way you can sleep a bit better knowing he isn't on the bed incase you move around to much....just a suggestion as I have done that with my two who are now adults

Yes I did. My milk comes in quick but after about 2 weeks I have to start pumping so I can trigger my body to boost my milk supply I found that out with my first one and I wasn’t consistent so my milk dried up. Ever since then I always start pumping at around day 4 of baby’s life. I feel like it just helps give my milk a boost. Plus I get to stash some for later if I need it. If you feel like yours is overproducing then I would not pump at all but I’ve never had that prob.

He falls asleep a lot while breastfeeding so I have to wake him up by rubbing his head or trying to switch breasts

my 3 week old does the same, and then wants to eat again and hour later, i feel like she is constantly on the breast because as soon as she gets on she falls asleep.

How long do you breastfeed on each side?

i started with 30 min on each side but after about 3 months old i switched to 10-15 min on each side. it depends on your baby too but this was my experience

No I do switch breast but I try to stop a couple times to burp him because he is really hard to burp and if I don’t he gets bad gas and tummy aches or spits up everything he just ate. I feed for about 10min then take him off to burp then put him back on and repeat that until he looks full.

No hubby is home but he is afraid to disturb us when we are in bed since he usually comes to bed after we have fallen asleep but he also falls asleep on the couch while watching shows so it’s a little of both. Yes I try to alternate breasts. Sometimes I will feed him in both in one feeding and other times I alternate. It just depends how hungry he is.

God I know a girl who has few kids done that and one her last baby she woke up the baby wasn’t on the bed it was on floor stuck between it and the side locker it was dead. It destroyed her it was an accident but in Northern Ireland we don’t do co sleeping . Higher risk of cot death. Them snuggle me seems safe they only our past 2 years . I had all mine so never got to try it . I never let mine in my bed from that ! Don’t mean this bad to tell u but it’s just so easy ther baby was only 5 weeks and couldn’t roll, but with 3 other kids and we all know exhaustion catch’s up big time after few weeks . It did her it hit she most moved her arm and bad fell over edge . It had no marks that it was pushed hard not a mark so she must just lift arm away or something . So so scary . Glad u use that snuggle me u should def put him in all time . Your r so right we all do our own thing and learn as we go along but never a baby in bed causes more cot deaths round the world . Sorry that story destroyed so many of us 6 years ago and that family never be the same . Was just an accident and she now is signed in and out of a mental home blames herself. So exhaustion catches up so quick that was a rough night with him. I breast fed 3 weeks then in ti formula . All babies sleeping all 5 how lucky I was then by 7 weeks slept 8 hours and I bottle feed I knew what they were getting and never had that cluster feeling awful ur an amazing mum . Xx

Yes he does but he ends up falling asleep on the couch a lot while playing a video game or watching a show. In the first month of Knox life he was always afraid to wake us when he decided to come to bed.
