Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel. I will help you learn color separations for T-shirt printing.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to do spot color separation with halftones. The artwork has three colors - tan, light brown, and dark brown - and is intended to be printed on a black T-shirt. The first print color is a white underbase, followed by tan, and finally, dark brown. The light brown color is produced by the halftone dots of dark brown on top of the solid color tan. To follow along, you need to download the artwork from the provided link. You will learn how to use the halftones actions to create a t-shirt color layer, remove black color from the artwork, increase the canvas size, and separate the colors one by one. You will also see how to make halftones from the layer. By the end of the tutorial, you will have successfully completed the color separation and halftone conversion process.
